The kid makes the movie even sadder and I haven't watched it since the late 90s with My Grandpa yet it seems like it was just last week when I did.

Ah, the remake of the A-Team. Now this was part of the absolute huge lineup of movies of 2010. One of the biggest movie years of ever of all-time. I had said recently, I saw over 20 movies on the big screen that year and soon I'll post My list of it. I had a memorable time about this one. Remember I said about 2010 was when Theaters were no longer projecting actual films and it all became digital :?: Well, The A-Team was one of THE last movies to be of the kind. I'm having a good time at the show eating My Hot Dogs & Pretzels and dipping them in Nacho Cheese Sauce seeing all of this great action happen and listening to Alan SIlvestri's great score while it's all happening (I bought the score on CD a while before this and I was in awe about it). Well, the great movie is over and as always I'm staying for the End Credits to listen to the score. About 1 minute of it or so, the FILM fries and boils on screen like in Gremlins 2 minus the Gremlins of course and I'm like oh great, that's wonderful but then I'm like I'm glad it happen then and not during the actual movie because I would have been really mad :x That's My moment there that I will never ever forget :)

Image

So, the movie stars Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Sharlto Copley, Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson which all of these guys were excellent as the iconic characters especially Neeson. Don't forget that Jackson was in TNA in around this time too

Image

The posters were really cool as you've already seen. The action excellent.

Image

Jessica Biel was also in it and she looked mighty fine and was a big part of the film's story.

Here's this great Cue by Alan SIlvestri. The previous year he just did G.I. Joe so it was a no-brainer to hire him for The A-Team. He really performed Mike Post's TV theme greatly. I love it when a composer still incorporates the original theme of a remake that he or she is doing :)

The movie was ok, but it's hard to recapture the magic of the TV cast. The casting was fine, but it wasn't the same.

I never seen nor knew about Toughest Man in the World, that look cool.

Okay, now listen up. there will be NO TRAILER TODAY because of this. I've said about how many movies I saw in 2010 which this year celebrates it's 15th year  It was an enormous one, arguably bigger that 1983 and even 1990 which in ways, 2010 reminded of 1990 because of the variety, the violence and sheer coolness & fun. As I said before, 2005 thru 2010 was like the 80s in movies, they were so cool yet very dark & violent then the tone down year of 2011 happen and it all ended to where we are now. Sure, The A-Team remake didn't have the magic of the original but really what remake & reboot does :? I know what you said a while back PB that it's been 20 years or longer and there's needs to be a remake but I disagree...as My Grandpa PoPo always said around the house for a long time, if it ain't broke, don't fix it :!: Like I said, before about the TDK Trilogy & The Fog, we don't need an explanation of the characters & story for 2 hours when the originals just explained it in minutes, this generation just simply needs to look back because it's already there with that history, it's that simple. Now, even though I was thinking this, I did think it was very cool that 2010 had this nostalgia feeling to it which I was very excited about the whole year. Now, here's THE LIST of EVERY movie I saw in 2010. I saw 31 of them  YES, I SAID THIRTY-ONE :batshock: :wwshock: :smgasp: Keep in Mind I saw two a month but was more when My Mom wanted to see one. LET ME KNOW if you want Me to spotlight & post any of these soon which some of these I already have but sometimes I feel I need redo them because there was very little that was said about them. I will briefly have a small description for each so so pay attention this Packer ;)

A Nightmare on Elm Street - REBOOT - It had a very cool feeling of nostalgia to it.

Clash of the Titans - REBOOT - I loved this one. Me & My Mom saw this together. I plan of spotlighting this and it's sequel in My MosterVerse+ Topic since it's made by Legendary.

How To Train Your Dragon - We already did this one recently.

Inception - This one was something else.

Iron Man 2 - This was huge. Me & My Mom saw this on the IMAX screen :!:

Jonah Hex - A good DC/Vertigo movie.

Knight and Day - Really cool.

Legion - We've talked about this a bit a couple years back. It was a must see for Me.

Machete - I just wanted to see this so bad, it was awesome :!:

Disney's Oceans - This is one of the most superior animal documentaries ever :!:

Paranormal Activity 2 - I saw this before the first one to see how it was since I love Found Footage movies. It was pretty good.

Percy Jackson & The Olympians - This was great but so far different compared to Clash of the Titans.

Piranha 3D - I loved how insane this was. The women were really nice and Elizabeth Shue was THE star with Christopher Lloyd & Richard Dreyfus :batwink:

Predators - Me & My Mom went to see this. It was arguably THE most anticipated movie of the whole year. I just loved it :batwink:

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time - I posted a bit of this good one before.

Resident Evil: Afterlife - This was so good. Milla Jovovich was tremendous

Robin Hood - This was Ridley Scott's epic that Me & My Mom saw.

SALT - This was decent and shows you what is really going on.

Shrek Forever After - This was good.

Skyline - This one was THE surprise of the whole year. This is one the best extraterrestrial movies I have ever seen. I will never ever forget that absolutely shocking ending that was complexly unexpected. This movie spawned 2 sequels that made a great trilogy.

The A-Team - See above & previous post.

The Book of Eli - I saw this fantastic religious movie along with Legion. It was such an unforgettable time.

The Crazies - This was superb. I loved this.

The Expendables - This was stupendous. Seeing Stallone and all of these action heroes together including Stone Cold Steven Austin was a dream come true. The second one is My fave of the franchise.

The Karate Kid - Another remake that I found similar like The A-Team.

The Last Air Bender - This was pretty good.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice - It was a live action version of the classic that starred Nicklaus Cage so it was a must see.

The Wolfman - Me & Mom saw this. This was a gore fest and We loved it.

Tron: Legacy - This came out in December 2010 but I didn't see it till around My B-Day in 2011 in January on the IMAX screen. This Disney epic was so tubular, any video gamer should see it. It was so superb in many ways and I loved the father & son storyline of it with Jeff Bridges.

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps - Me & Mom saw this one together. It was a so amazing seeing the story unfold so long after the first one.

------------------------------------------------------

SPECIAL

Ghostbusters - 25th Anniversary - Blu-ray Projection - I actually saw this along with three other films that I spoke about just a moment ago which was Shrek Forever After, Paranormal Activity 2 & the shocking Skyline. For THE first time ever, Ghostbusters returned to the big screen. It was such a treat seeing this again on the big screen since My childhood. I will never ever forget the small audience including Me ALL CLAPPED when the movie ended, it was such a special moment :)

--------------------------------------------------------------------

So, there's ALL of the movies I saw in 2010. I know this many seem ridicules seeing that many movies but hey, when your a big movie goer, that is what you do :) 2010 was a great year to say the least. That's all for now ;)

Okay, when I get to them, you tell Me when which ones they were/are ;) Ah Se7en. That was some movie. it came out in 1995. It was a great year for a lot yet it was a dark one. When I first saw Seven, it was quite shocking there with John Doe aka Kevin Spacey which I had seen him before in the usual Suspects & Outbreak. I had seen Morgan Freeman before well from the Shawshank Redemption & Outbreak. I believe this was the first movie I saw Brad Pitt & Gwyneth Paltrow in.

The Intro was was really creepy which 95 was kinda the start of this style and type of horror though I believe in started in 94 with the Crow :blbat:

Here's this track of the intro by Nine Inch Nails. By the way, two of the band members Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (The Book of Eli) just did a really good score for the new movie titled The Gorge for Valentine's Day. I posted a special about that cool movie in My Horror Topic recently :blww:

Se7en's musical score was by Howard Shore (The Fly & The Client). It's very creepy too :blsm:

This Cue here is phenomenal :blmm:

It was definitely a memorable movie. A shame Morgan Freeman kind of went off the rails in recent years. He's a very talented actor.

Yes, Freeman is. He got a ton of great roles and yes, it's a shame  I never seen Emma from the very big movie year of 1996. It really wasn't My kind of movie then however, Paltrow was quite nice looking there.

OK, no trailer today because I found out on Bing, I found out an actor passed away that always got My attention that many people probably don't even know, his name was Peter Jason  By a VERY strange coincidence, I just posted about him the other day when I spotlighted Willow Creek in My Cryptozoology Topic  Here's My quote

BrandonDaCollector wrote:I was VERY surprised that one of the witnesses was played by Peter Jason  He was in They Live, Arachnophobia (look for a special soon here!), Mortal Kombat - 1995 - look for a special in My Horror Topic this year!), The Glimmer Man, commercials among other things.

So, with that weird bit there being known, I always look for the obscure & little stuff that a lot people don't. Peter Jason as has always been one of the good actors I liked that played supporting yet important characters. I've known him since My childhood. Here's the sad news on Bing that I saw

Image

Now, you just read in My of some of the movies he's been in. Here's his entire part in 1995's Mortal Kombat. I really liked how he had longer, gray hair in this, he looked really cool. His role here was quite short but very crucial because it was the first reveal that this was Shang Tsung, the main villain of the great film and that he shaped-shifted if your a viewer that's unaware of his abilities in the video games

We lost a good one there and this concludes My small but thoughtful tribute, may Peter Jason Rest In Peace  Like I said, I'm going to do a major spotlight of Mortal Kombat in My Horror Topic this year as well as the sequel. I'm also going to a big spotlight of Arachnophobia soon in My Cryptozology Topic :)

RIP. I wasn't familiar with the name but he was certainly in a lot of stuff looking at his filmography.

Yes, a lot of people probably didn't know his name, but he was very good. I always look for the people & stuff that are obscure and usually never paid a minute too. Many times, they got the talent among other things that is so overlooked. Of course, Bing and news people say Deadwood, none of the really cool movies that he was a part of. Yes, he was in a ton of films, them movies that I mentioned were only a sample and main ones I always think about it.

Ah gosh, Wuthering Heights. You talk about a story that's been done so many times  I've only seen one version of It and it was the 1939 version.

Image

It's a fave of My Mom's. She don't care about the other versions, just that one. She told about that one with David Niven & Laurence Oliver and how good it was. She wanted to see that one again a couple years ago because she saw it many times when she was much younger. Amazon had it on Prime. I already knew Laurence Oliver from another of Mom's faves, 1979's Dracula with Frank Langela (I will spotlight that in My Horror Topic later) and Clash of that Titans she recorded for Me when I was a youngster that I'll spotlight in time. The movie is good but it's really a sad story. Here's the original trailer.

Now, when We watched it, I told her about the composer of the film which is quite important. She knows a bit about classic movie music, some even more than I do but she doesn't keep up with the composers' names in modern times and all the fun stuff that I do. The music was by Alfred Newman. He's Randy Newman's Uncle  He also composed the 20th Century Fox Fanfare. When you see that before any movie such as Star Wars, Alien & Predator, X-Files or anything else that is 20th Century Fox or Fox in general, remember that it is by Alfred Newman. When I told her this, she was a bit surprised. Like I said, it's important. Here's this great Cue that Alfred Newman composed for the 1939 version of Wuthering Heights :)

I had to read the book in college so I watched all the versions after. The modern one is a little more accurate from what I recall but both are pretty good. I just caught this preview last night, a pretty good cast...

Emily Bett Rickards as Mildred Burke
Walton Goggins as Jack Pfefer

and

Kamille as June Byers
Toni Storm as Clara Mortensen
Trinity Fatu as Ethel Johnson
Britt Baker as Debbie Nichols
Jim Cornette as Sam Muchnick
