Man, I had an Everybody Loves Raymond post ready with three scenes and then I could not for the life of me find the fourth part and jokes don't make sense without the punchline so here's the Fresh Prince instead.

Ah, what a shame, that sounded interested...maybe you'll find it later :) How about that Fresh Prince :) Here's Stan's Pawn Shop. I used to see his commercials a lot when I was a youngster. I was very surprised to read a comment on there that they saw it tons of times during The Three Stooges on KPLR-TV Channel 11, that was nice to know their in the same area & times as Me :)

Yep. Great Muppets there with Don Knotts. Here's this special from Channel 5 KSDK. This features Mike "Boom, Boom" Bush and the St. Louis Blues. I've known him since I was a youngster. Watch this :)

As you saw he's older now, he's still the doing the news which is great to see :)

Here's this bonus blooper

It's nice when you have longtime broadcasters. So many always look to go to bigger cities.

Yes it sure is. Oh I know, there's been so many that went elsewhere but Mike Bush has always been here with KSDK but more in a moment. That SNL was a real good one. Now that's classic comedy there and I actually laughed at that  Those guys are all good, but Chris Farley is still one the best :)

Okay, here's one more with Mike Bush. It's KSDK Sports Plus. Watch as you see a tiny second of WWF Maint Event and Mike Bush does that cool at the climax :)

I'll show some others that I've known since I was a youngster but many of them moved on, retired or gone sadly  I'll see about that in time :)

That was a great Spider-Man show :batwink: Here's this. On May 12, 1986, 38 years ago this year, the St. Louis Blues won Game 6 of the Campbell Conference Finals against the Calgary Flames in overtime :!:

I was just talking to someone about this yesterday, but it's amazing how much hockey has changed in 30-40 years. The speed, the size, the shooting ability. I mean, tons of guys still weren't wearing helmets in 1986. It's crazy to even think about today. I don't really remember hockey in 1986. I think my earliest memories are closer to 88 for some reason. I remember the 86 Mets and the Giants/Broncos SuperBowl, but for whatever reason not so much hockey. Which is weird considering access to the Canadian channels. But oh well.

Good trivia. Yeah, sometimes I'm like that about years from My early days. Never heard of Deer Blind before but I was never a fan of hunting so that would something i would really would be away from whether it was funny or not.

Okay, now check this out. I said many times here when I was a youngster when I watched Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood, Reading Rainbow & Captain Kangaroo that it was on PBS. I found this video...I was a bit surprised that this was available. I always watched the credits of shows besides during movies and even the ads. That was a good way to find info & see what was next. What your about to see is how it was for youngsters in St.Louis in the 80s :) First is the Sesame Street closing theme then at :38 you see about local companies including Ralston Purina who own EverReady, Hostess & Wonder Bread. Last year in My Odds & Ends for an early Halloween showcase I entered My old EverReady Batteries with the Black Cats on them and revealed that EverReady & Ralston Purina was based here in St. Louis  I've known this since I was little. Then after that you see some cool ads, hearing the man talking and you see the nice PBS - KETC St. Louis Logo. Look at that closely, I love how they made that with Down Town St. Louis & The Gateway Arch. All of this was so fun back and this really takes Me back then to them fun times :)
