So here's My next showcase and it's a special one. It's one of the most overlooked & under-appreciated video games of ever of all-time...it's
KARNOV

Made by
Data-East, this has never had a re-release that I know of. With all of the games that's been done for the mini home systems and re-releases on consoles, there's been so many missed-opportunities over the decades about having this game again

Originally at the
Arcades that I had the chance I first found out about it long ago when I first saw it for the
NES at My local
Kay-Bee Toys in
Crestwood Plaza way back in the good ol'days

For a long time, I've wanted to put together a special about that but unfortunately, I haven't found any material of the store from My area yet, but I did with
Sears & the AMC Theater and I posted those good times previously and I'm grateful for it. It's such shame how distant society has become about so many things on so many levels never talking about important stuff and how as a whole, doesn't talk nor preserve their own past & history. Every year the distance is going further & further and its really deplorable how things have become thus allowing more of a chance for great things to fall to Oblivion

So, this pic here that I put together isn't from the
80s but from the
90s however, this will still gives you the idea of how wonderful it was stepping inside a
K-B Toys and getting
Video Games behind the counter which I have discussed in My other
Video Game Topic a while back and I'm grateful for that experience

I still recall one fine day in
1987 when I was with My Grandpa PoPo & his daughter, My Mom and I was in the back seat waiting to go to the great toy store. He was driving and she was in the passenger seat. They got Me
Karnov like I wanted and keep in mind that
NES Games cost over
$40
I recall how it was night time Me in the back seat holding My
K-B Toys Bag
Here's My
Karnov NES Video Game in detail

If your faithful reading about Me over the years, then it should be a no-brainer as to why My attention as a 6 year old youngster was on this

The game's story goes as circus strongman performer
Jinborov Karnovski aka Karnov must retrieve the stolen
Treasure of Babylon and fight many different creatures and get it back for the
village of Creamina
Here's the
Cartridge.

The
Cover pic is just so awesome with the circus performer
Karnov, the
Tyrannosaurus Rex, Pterosaurs & Ape Men.

The
back of the Cartridge.

Here's the
Instruction Booklet. I have always found these as fun as the games themselves.

You see the
power-up items to get and the cool
creatures you must face

Here's the
1987 Copyright. Always look for them as well as the
Trademarks. I have been doing that since I was a youngster. The "supposed experts" never tell you to do so on any of your collectibles regardless of what they are...you'll be glad that you listened to Me about this

Now,
Karnov's Revenge was the second game of
Fighter's History and somewhat of a sequel & spin-off to
Karnov. This came out in
1994 for the
Neo-Geo and then later on for
Sega Saturn. It's a very cool game and similar like
Street Fighter. I was never able to play the game until recently on
PS4. I love how
Karnov has been redesigned and resembles a
Russian Abdullah the Butcher

One day soon I sure hope they re-release
Karnov soon, I've been waiting for a very long time now. That's it for this one, next up will be a dandy
Dragon feature for the
SNES that I have always loved, until then I'll see you around
