Around here, Boxing Day was the annual day Canadians crossed the border and left their old sneakers in our mall parking lots!

I kid, I kid. Sort of :)

Hope everyone had a good holiday. This thread will be going dormant again for another year very soon. Thanks to everyone who participated!

But make sure to navigate over to the New Year's thread that should be active in 4...3...2...1...

I cannot confirm nor deny the sneaker thing.

Well, Thanksgiving is late this year, and December is just around the corner so I figured let's kick the Christmas season off a little early. We'll still run the regular threads through the end of the month but...

Image

But it's not even Thanksgiving! Let's wait until Black Friday!

Nah, I don't even go shopping on Black Friday. So I don't have to see the lines.

Thanks :) Good Football. More Black Friday chaos nonsense :batsmh: :wwsmh: :smsmh: Oh man, that one from 1983 is great, Joes, ROTJ, MOTU, Cabbage Patch Kids...it really doesn't get any better than that :)

Oh gosh, take Me back to 1989, 35 years ago this year. Such a great year to be a kid. Kids have no idea how wonderful it was then. Look at all that goodness. I showcased a lot this stuff and more to come. Look at the NES & Game Boy, TMNT & 89 Batman. Look all of those Hasbro WWF figures, he even has a lonely Brian Knobs WCW figure  This is a good one :)

I must've gotten a lot of video games and clothes in 1989 because I never owned any TMNT toys or Batman movie stuff. I had one Batman all black figure, that was it. No idea what I got Christmas 1989, but it wasn't any of those toys.

Shame you never had a TMNT figure PB, their so cool :) One I still hope to showcase My collection. I remember some of what I got for 1989, it was some Ghostbuters i know that. Those videos were good. Amazing to see that he was home doing the computer having stuff delivered to him...now it's all the rave  Yep, he told it the way it was with Sears Wish Book :)

This video is long but you could just browse through it if you wish. It shows you a ton of Christmas stuff from 1984, 40 years ago this year

1984 was a good year for toys and sitcoms. I probably saw a lot of those gameshows as well just not as memorable since they don't re-air as much as sitcoms.
