I'm very rusty on My Japanese but these was the Hitachi Mascots. They got the Ichibon Gaijin (Number 1 Outsider/Foreigner) "The Immortal Hulk Hogan in around 1991 to promote their Kūchō (Air Conditioner) made by BigFlow (revolutionary at the time). They showed Tiny Toons in Japan also, the USA weren't the only ones with animated classics that was American Amazing Commercial PB

Now since you were refreshed about that...here's another to continue it only this time "The Hulkster" is a Sumo

Yes, it looks kinda weird really. Oh The Addams Family Cereal, I'm not sure if I seen the commercial which was excellent and I know I never had the food before and I never recall seeing it at the stores but that was such a great time in 91

Okay, here's this Hogan Hitachi commercial. This is also something...Hogan plays Zeus the Greek God...it's really strange when his arch rival in wrestling was called Zeus If you want to know, the kids want an air conditioner that warms up. Hogan says HOSONAGA That means Long and Slim This commercial is hilarious especially the last several seconds

I remember when I was a kid there was some kind of wrestling game my cousin was involved with where he had to mail in your next move and then wait for the reply to come in. I don't really recall exactly how it worked, but this made me think of it just now.

Here's Hulk Hogan's WCW Hotline that lasted from 94 - early 96. Now I never called that one though I suspect it was similar like his WWF one with more options. The commercials were really cool too

Ok, did some googling and it was called the IWA, the Imaginary Wrestling Association, and apparently it's still around!

Basically you sent in some money and created a wrestler with specific moves, and the picked a move order and they would match you up with someone else's wrestler and some how formulated who would win based on the moves. And then you'd get a newsletter in the mail with all kinds of match results. I'm starting to recall more of this. I wanted to do it when I was younger but didn't have the money.
