X-23

Postby 1987olds442 » Sat Dec 07, 2013 10:11 pm

Here is another of my DCUC/ML customs X-23. I just pulled her off the shelf this week to refresh the paint on her. The main body is a DCUC Star Sapphire with some minor re-sculpting to the ab area to remove the costume lines, and to her waist and inner thighs to give the body more a Marvel Legends look. Her full recipe is: Marvel Legends X-23's hair, biceps, elbows, forearms, hands, knees, lower legs, and boots; DCUC Star Sapphire's body; DCUC Superwoman's head; and DCUC Power Girl's belt.

She looks great. Now, is there anyway you can go back in time and replace the piece of crap we got from Toy Biz with yours? :scbaf:

Leaps and bounds better than the original, but I am guessing you already knew that :)

Black Widow

Postby 1987olds442 » Sun Dec 22, 2013 12:56 pm

Black Widow
I missed out on getting the two pack Black Widow, so I decided to make my own. She is a pretty simple recipe: the base figure is a ROML Mystique, a casting of the two pack Widows head, and Series 8 Black Widow's Belt and Bracers I also use the head for an alternate with X3 Jean Grey's hair. I also modified the feet to add Revoltech joints to give her ankle pivots. Now she can stand flat footed on the ground. Then I finished her up with a complete paint job.

Thanks  I like the short haired head better as well. I'm thinking that the long haired head could work great for Firestar.

Yeah there is something I just don't like about her face, she looks kinda smug or stuck up... if an action figure can even do that LOL
