But what makes them a real treat is the time you take to explain how you made them. I'd love to see some work in progress shots, or even some shots of the base materials you used (like the various foams and foam sheets), to truly appreciate the craft and ingenious creativity you've managed.
Thank you very much! I have gotten so much inspiration from other peoples' custom work that I try to pass it along and that's why I type out detailed descriptions. Unfortunately, I have never really taken any Work In Progress shots mainly because I upload them to Flickr and there's a 200 picture limit before they start to charge. That's why I have 2 different Flickr accounts. I haven't been able to figure out how to upload photos from my computer directly to this site.
Another reason is that I've always felt like most people take tons of WIP pics to pad their threads and increase their post count. I always find myself skipping to pictures of the finished work or losing interest before I get there. I always figured that people would rather see pictures of the finished work rather than my messy garage or dusty cardtable.
