What I do when cracking a figure is to heat the figure in very hot water to get the glue soft. Then to remove the legs on a DCUC figure I take a large knife and pry the bottom waist seam open. When I first started I use to try this with a hobby knife, but you can't get the leverage that you need to pop the seam apart... Plus I've cut myself a few times because of that as well. Below is a picture of the knife that I use now.

This week I've been working on trying to catch up on commission work all for the same commissioner.
First was a repair job. He purchased grungethemovie's awesome 90's Hulk. Which is beautifully sculpted, but at one point or another it took a tumble. Which broke the head and chipped up the paint on the body. When a he told me that he had a modified Select hulk figure that had a broken head, so I told him that I would be more than happy to fix it for him. And I was taken for a huge surprise when I opened the box and it was grungethemovie's incredible 90's Hulk in there.
After repairing the fractures on the head and adding a little color to the eyes I touched up the paint on the head and body I applied to good sealer and then sprayed it with a dullcoat. I just can't get over how awesome grungethemovie's sculpting is, and I took a lot of pictures show off all of that sculpting work.
With this one he is wanting a mix of the original Toybiz Archangel with the new Hasbro one. So far I modified the wing connector to fit on the Toybiz body, and I had to make an adapter for the neck using a ROML Ghost Rider neck to fit the Hasbro head on to the old body.
He is also wanting to have an alternate body for a custom Samuel Alexander Nova that he already had to have an older Nova. So I've started sculpting Nova's new alternate body.

Oh and Corey from casting cave just sent me a picture of the newly cast feet for my Hulks with castings of the Marvel Select/DCUC adapters that I made.
Here are the original parts.
My V5 of Now! Cap is almost finished. He just needs sealed then dullcoated.
Here is another update on Ms Marvel's paint work.
Update on Agent Coulson.
I'm also going to be making an Avengers A.I. Vision, and I may end up making the entire team.
