Really, characters like these were the whole reason I got into customizing, to fill gaps of favorite characters that Mattel would never make. Thought these had a chance when the Secret Six was getting good reviews, but in hindsight, 'tooling costs' for unique pieces probably made these gals improbable. But at least we have Batzarro (well, I don't since I removed my credit card from my Matty account so they never shipped me mine--$35 for him? Hellz no!)

Absolutely beautiful work on both of those lovely ladies :smgasp:

Great work on the sculpting on both these, and I especially like how you blended Jeannette's coat onto the body. What did you use to make her coat, and what material did you use to sculpt it? And great work on her hair as well

Thank you. The coat is just the bottom of Captain Boomerang's jacket (cut just below the arm holes) kind of sanded down at the point where it was attached just above the hips of a Mystique torso. After that I just put on a thin spread of milliput to blend it all into a smooth look. Sounds harder than it is, the painting of her inner jacket was a lot harder. Especially since the length of my first attempt was too short as it hung above the boots, so I had to rip it off and start a new coat. D'oh.

Thanks, t! I spent a lot of time on these. And once I finished Ragdoll I'm swearing off checkers and chess for a while. Yeesh.

Your paint work and sculpting is always so clean, packer. The hair on Jeannette looks especially awesome.

So every now and then I stop at this secondhand store called Savers to check out their toys. I once found a Halo figure I wound up using parts of for my Anna Fortune, so I like to pop in once or twice a month just in case. Well, about a week or two ago I had a figure coup spending $23 on a two Venoms (the Scorpion one and another), DCUC Deadshot! (been looking for an extra on ebay but they go too high for me), a Neca maskless Rorschach, and a Mattel Public Enemies Superman that also had a DC Infinite Heroes Superman in the baggie. Wasn't sure what to do with that DCIH Supes until I had an epiphany at Walmart when I passed the Schliech animal figurines. The cape was actually a really nice fit, white paint, and a sculpted silver-age collar (no 'S' tag) and viola...

Thanks. Wasn't really much work. But he looks nice next to the Big Blue Boyscout.
