Early in the Morrison run on JLA he introduced a group of white martians pretending to be heroes. That is why the leader (Protex) is customized in mid-transformation.

Shade the Changing Man made from a Samurai body and an El Dorado head. I sculpted the circles on his vest and body and then got really tired of cleaning up my line work...so I stopped.

I got halfway through and I really started hating her. I used a wrestling figure and sculpted the details on. The cape is made from duct tape. Let me know if I should keep hating her.

It's weird though how DCUC's females were decent looking but most female wrestling figures look like they're on the East German swimteam. Not just Mattel but even Jakks and TNA figures. I mean, I know they aren't all drop-dead gorgeous, but they all don't look like Nicole Bass either.

I think you have nailed the aesthetic that was bothering me. I separated the head from the body to get the hair painted and was pretty happy with my progress. When I got the head back on, my first thought was "Gee I wish I had used a DCUC buck with a Black Canary head or something else." Donna Troy seemed to work well when I used her. I suppose she fits in well enough, something I may revisit someday.
