Sorry for coming late to the party, what is the process you use to make the capes out of duct tape?

You could never be late Savant, the party is always happening!
I lay a strip down sticky side up and lay a strip on top sticky side down. The second strip covers half of the first strip. A third strip goes sticky side down on the other half. Flip the whole thing over and repeat until you have the desired width.

Robotman was relatively easy. I used a DCUC Cliff Steele Robotman. I dremeled off the little box thing on his chest and put the flap on the back of his head using moldable plastic. I hit him with a black base coat and did two coats of silver on top. Lastly I drybrushed a sky blue over everything. Let me Know what y'all think.

Thanks for the tip Hector!

One more question...is the tape fairly easy to paint?

It is not. I try to find the color I need to reduce the need to paint.

Hourman II was made using Indigo Atom's body and a Kobra head (aka Lord Naga). A goofy costume to be sure, but I wanted him for my Infinity Inc. The hair sculpt is a bit funky and I went off model with the belt. I couldn't bring myself to dremel it down so I did my best to make it work.
