Good Drew there. That's cool. UFC is alright. I stopped watching it full time long ago. It just wasn't the same of how it was in the 90s. Don't forget that WWE & UFC merged. See if you son knows that. While this makes Me less of a fan, it is cool that last year they a special NXT in the UFC Underground Arena, I made a special about that in My PLE Topic when it happen. I don't talk enough about the early days of UFC. As I've expressed before, 1993 was such a crucial year for so many things. It just wasn't the birth of ECW, it was the beginning of UFC too  This is My fave Era of UFC. You had Ken Shamrock, Dan "The Beast" Severn, Tank Abbott, Joyce Gracie and many more in the 90s. See about showing your son this era, how great it was and how it all begin, This was huge when I was 12. I'll never forget seeing that VHS box of UFC 1 over at Star Video by the wrestling & sports section...I was like what the heck is this so We rented it and We were hooked...it was a great alternative to wrestling & boxing and this was when sports felt like sports :)

I'll see about doing a UFC special in time. Here's this BBC special with George Foreman. He had a reunion with Joe Frazier & Muhammad Ali

Yeah, there's also MMA handicap matches like 1 vs 2, 1 vs 3, etc.

The old UFC was pretty crazy in that it was a total wild west scenario but some of those bouts, specifically some of the superfights, did not age well. Particularly the Ken Shamrock vs. Dan Severn one. I saw a lot of interviews from both and they both blame each other with that one. Some of the Royce vs. Ken and Royce vs. Dan ones weren't great either. A lot of that had to do with the Gracies calling the shots in the UFC early on and Royce manipulating the rules to favour Gracie jiu-jitsu.

Ken had many much more exciting matches with the other fighters at the time. Ken and Frank had way more interesting fights in Japan in Pancrase. Frank had the more exciting matches in UFC. Things picked up more when Don the Predator Frye, Mark the Hammer Coleman, Kevin Randleman and Maurice Smith and Randy Couture entered the fray. I started losing some interest when Chuck Liddel came in and was more into Pride FC as they were a lot closer to what UFC was at the start in terms of different fighters of different backgrounds with fights that took weigh class out of the equation.

I never got into MMA. As soon as one tackles the other it's sooooo boring. Maybe one match per card that I've watched with my son was exciting.

Acid, yeah Pride FC and the stuff in Japan was arguably better (stuff in Japan is epic) and I posted some of that in the past.

I know what you mean PB. I've expressed before how the main thing to Me that irks Me the most about UFC & MMA in sports in general is that it was presented as a new fighting style when it wasn't. Chuck Norris had already established MMA long before this, amazing how such cool things never catch on until something or somebody else does it

Here's a rare video "Big" George Foreman doing his training during his comeback :)

Tomorrow I'm going start about his actual fights :)

That would have worked. That was some SNL there. Here's this quote from you PB from last month

Woke up this morning to see the sad news that Gene Hackman and his wife (and dog) had passed away. What a career he had.

Here's Mine from today in your Movie Trailer Topic.

still to this day IMO, this sacrifice is a fantastic scene of Gene Hackman but it's such a horrible one at the same time :batsmh: :wwsmh: :smsmh:

Here's Gene Hackman with Johnny Carson talking about The Poseidon Adventure in 1972 :)

That doesn't look like 1972, but I guess it is.

Yes, I've been seeing a lot of videos about the Pyramids on YT. On YT you'll see stuff that will never be seen on actual TV. Me & My Mom has really been talking about this. There is so much that we don't know and people go about their day hardly ever thinking about humanity's past. I always say about persevering our past, seeing ancient civilizations like this a good reason why I do. I've always wondered why are we here & who created us. I've always been fascinated about Ancient Egypt (My Grandma MiMi adored it) and other cultures in general. If you recall, I've really expressed My interest about Ancient India in My Classic Kaiju Topic for example. The thing is, there's been a lot discovered over time and in recent times. For example which this is always on My mind is that they found Ancient Egyptian temples, statues, artifacts and more in The Grand Canyon...yes THE Grand Canyon that's right here in the USA :o Since The Grand Canyon is a National Park, they have since sealed it off from the public body and one must wonder why. You can see about it yourself. As another interesting note, Sumerian and among others has been discovered in North America. It's so interesting to think that so many cultures of the old world landed here so long before Columbus  As for the video, i didn't see that particular one but I saw the one who posted with the headline.

The quality is excellent. The movie was 1972 and the Carson show was too, it says it right there on the title that it was December 29th, 1972 :) To continue The Poseidon Adventure, here's this. I liked how close she was to her brother :)

I never watched that show but I've seen that clip before. Hollywood always tells & shows you twisted truths about so much in so many movies & TV shows basically since the beginning of silent films, that's all I'm saying about that.

Okay, continuing about the Pyramids. First, I want to introduce you to Jaymez of the Impossible Channel. He's one of My top guys I watch on YT. I watch him every week. He keeps up with a lot that you never ever see on the main stream media shows & news outlets. He was and still is talking about the New Jersey Drones, Orbs, The Toxic Fog & Alien Pods plus a lot of other alien, cryptids, spooky & weird stuff. I was going to recommend that you watch him months ago but I wasn't sure if you'd be interested and keep up with him. I love his videos, their really put together well and the background music he chooses is really creepy. So, here's this video he did about a week ago, he's pretty much up with the times.

Next I'll post his follow up video he did posted a few days ago.
