Here's Crispus Allen Spectre on Martian Manhunter's packaging and again on SDCC Plasticman (more clear).

Thanks Acid! So it is save to say that Vixen and Spectre are the only two left out based on the packaging?

Hey Truwe,

Actually, I think Dr. Light was also on a package, but I don't remember for sure. Crispus Allen was a weird omission since he would have been a simple head swap with Jim Corrigan. I also thought it was weird that they omitted Ryan Choi Atom, too. These were really easy variants. I think mini-Ray Palmer figure that was included with the Giganta wave was possibly a nod to the Atom's relationship with Giganta but unfortunately, it was the wrong Atom. :smummm:

Yeah I think the Atom and Specter variants were a missed opportunity. But don't get me wrong, I like the "glow in the dark" Specter and the all white one. Plus, if they did that Atom variant, chances are Ray would be much harder for me to have bought at a reasonable price since he'd probably be the "rare one."

I am convinced Vixen made it into or past the Prototype stage though. Bet she was a 2014 figure for sure. The specificity of some of those characters on the packaging . . . like Sinestro Cyborg Superman just screams "you are getting or have gotten all these guys."

Conspiracy theories run amuck!!! Hahaha...

I loved the fact that we got a tiny Atom (funny that Elasti-Girl's tiny version is so much smaller than the DCUC and JLU Atom's Tiny Titan figure) and I'm glad Matty didn't do yet another repaint of the Atom to be Ryan Choi...

As for the Spectre, I love the glow in the dark version they gave us and he is the version I has with the rest of my DCUC display; the regular is in a different room with other variants/extra figs

Who is the GL girl?

Who is the guy in front of Crispus Allen?

Those 2 were hard to make out for me...

That is I believe a very bad rendition of Katma-Tui and Iron.

I was thinking Katma Tui, but it doesn't look anything like the comics...Iron makes sense; thanks Packer

Yes that's Katma Tui. Actually I think she looks a little sexier there than in the comics but it definitely doesn't look like her due to the trendy hairstyle.

Box art (especially on DCIE) was never Mattel's strong suit.

I'll second that. They are doing a better job on the Total Heroes box art but at the cost of the figures, which are a giant step back from DCUC figures.
