Good. Same thing with that however I recall seeing Kurt Russell for the first time in that trailer and I was like gosh, how things are changing for him. Here's this one that I recall seeing the previews of but never watched it.

Soon, I'll be starting more fighting films and a lot from 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005 , 2010 plus others :)

Don't recall that one, but not really the kind of movie I'd readily search out.

I never seen it nor wanted to, I just recall the previews. I never seen The Late Game which looked decent.

Okay, check this. Remember Short Round from Indiana Jones & the Temple of Doom :?:

Well, the little Vietnamese boy's real life name is Ke Huy Quan and is in his 50s now. He's become a major stuntman. He's in a new movie coming out this year with this comedy which looks good

Yep, that was him  That one looked ok until the end of the trailer

Here's this one coming out in 2025. Whne I first saw this trailer a while back I was like, what, Topher Grace in a role like that again (2010's Predators) but then it's really Mark Wahlberg who is the deceiving one

Haven't seen that preview before but I really don't pay attention to most upcoming movies.

Yeah, I really don't either but I first knew that it because it was an ad on a video I posted recently. I was like, what the heck happen to Wahlberg's hair  Just another reason to look back on the past :) I never knew about Mr. & Mrs Hockey. That looked good.

Okay, let's get back to some action & fighting films. First, here's this good one starring Steven Seagal that came out in 1994 called On Deadly Ground :!:

Image

This is a major environmental movie with a big message.

Image
Image

It stars Steven Seagal who looks the part of a Native American.

Image

Michael Caine is the villain :!:

Image
Image

His goons are played by John C. McGinley & Sven-Ole Thorsen :o

Image

McGinley is known to play bad guys & maniacs in movies.

Image

Don't forget, I introduced Thorsen a while back, he is Arnold Schwarzenegger's friend & stunt double!

Image

He fights Seagal :!:

Image

Also appearing in this one is the lovely Joan Chen whom was apropos to play her part because Eskimos & Native American's origins are from Asia.

Image

Also appearing is Billy Bob Thornton before his rise to fame...

Image

Shari Shattuck...

Image

Also the late great big Mike Starr...

Image

and the late great real life drill Sgt. R. Lee Ermey!

Image

Here's the iconic trailer!

Here's this wonderful suite by the late great Basil Poledouris. He did such a great job at making sound Native American :)

That will do it for On Deadly Ground, more coming soon :)

Don't know if I ever saw that one.

Before Miracle came out in the 90s there was an 80s made for TV movie my dad used to love about the 1980s USA Hockey Team.

Well, that's good, another you didn't know :) Good trivia, I never seen that Miracle on Ice from 1981 :)

Here's the first good movie from 1990 that is celebrating it's 35th anniversary that I'm posting  This Jean-Claude Van Damme movie is Death Warrant :!:

Image

JCVD does pretty good here.

Image

Cynthia Gib is JCVD's love interest.

Image
Image

Patrick Kilpatrick is "The Sandman" :!:

Here's the Trailer :!:

I recall My Mom got Me the VHS long ago for Christmas, here's this special VHS Commercial :!:

Here's the great main theme by Gary Chang :)

More later :)
