RIP Linda Lavin

Postby packerbacker180 » Tue Dec 31, 2024 3:30 pm

I was sad to see that Linda Lavin, star of the show Alice passed away yesterday. While it was a show I watched in reruns occasionally as a kid, I grew to really like it in more recent years. I think she may even have been one of the few stars to record the theme song to their own show, and there were several versions over the nine seasons that ran from 1979-1985.

Wow, Linda Lavin. I watched Alice reruns, too. Very fun show. Sad to hear for sure. Thanks for sharing the clips. RIP.

Yeah, I think Polly Holliday (Flo) is the only main cast member still with us. Even Phillip McKeon who played Tommy, Alice's son, passed away a few years ago at the age of 55.

Again, what a shame. I look back on shows, movies, wrestling and stuff like that about who's gone and how many is left
