Oh I recall the Bobby Bo fiasco. When I was really first getting into baseball I heard all this stuff about him and I'm like I gotta see this Bobby Bonilla because when I was realizing that Mark McGwire wasn't the only great hitter & personality in the sport I wanted to see Bobby Bo in action busting out 30 to 40 homers...well that never happen as he was usually on the DL then he retired and it was quite bittersweet about that not to mention this Bobby Bo day
I got better fun stuff watching another Bobby and that was Bobby Abreu and way more outta guys like Mike Pizza, Vinny Castilla & Greg Vaughn. Mike Hampton was a great pitcher and David Wright was quite good too. To bad baseball isn't like this anymore today. I'm not from New York nor have I been there but I can relate to most states and give them all a chance. I love the color of the Mets but really I've always liked the Yankees more.
