Those are so cool and would make great model kits, I think!!!

You made that Parallax look soo easy, going step by step. I was forced to go through the 3rd grade :zodrage: so no great skills with the pin striping tape for me. He looks great, do you ever worry about how high the bar keeps getting with your work? :scbaf:

Thank you very much for the kind words. I very much appreciate them.

I do have an obsession with quality, which can leave me squinting into surface blemishes. That's probably why I only use rattle cans for my painting.

When I can't sleep, I do wonder about where this is all going. There is only so much room on the shelf? I know that I like model kits and things I have made probably more than store bought things (the $40 Adam West model kit rates much much higher than the $200 Hot Toys figure).

I know I definitely enjoy the social aspect of the hobby. It really does a lot for me when the guy receives Parallax in the mail and he flips out. Late night chats with Rod about mixing a color palette for Doc Magnus' sports coat.

Rod and I both figured out that we can't make money off the hobby. We both pour waaaaay too much (and who doesn't, really) into the figures to make anything off them. Aside from a handful of holiday commissions, I've definitely stopped that. So I tend to make them these days as gifts, more than anything else.

For me, I'm moving onto sculpting. I've casted my own stuff and the size-changing resin has opened up a whole new world of options. For 2014, I'm playing with the idea of selling a few casts of parts as I make them for myself. We'll see.

Onwards!
