So WWE SummerSlam is tonite (Saturday) which I have kinda trained Myself to get used to that as WWE PPVs/PLEs are usually on a Sunday.
SummerSlam has always been one My favorite WWF/WWE events. I loved all of'em from first decade or so. I believe this is the first time ever that the event is in July and not August, this is happening because of WWE'S Clash at the Castle which is a UK special event. Amazing it was 30 years ago this year in 1992 when they were there for SummerSlam 92 which is one of My most favorite WWF events of ever, of all-time.
Despite NXT UK, the UK has been clambering for the WWE to get there for decades especially for a Wrestlemania...I guess this is a way to somewhat fit their needs
It appears that WWE SummerSlam to be a cool card but quite different. Here is the match ups thus far.
Amazing Brock returned last year confronting Roman, a year later here they are in a Last Man Standing Match for the Undisputed Universal Championship
This is going to be epic! It might be the most unbelievable match of the whole year!
I bet this is going to be superb. Keep in mind, like Lesnar, Becky suddenly came back and beat Bianca for the title. About a year or so later we are having the rematch! Oh and its really awesome how Bianca has put on many pounds of muscle over the last few months. She's 160 pounds of muscle & beauty NOW
Becky is sporting the 1 i symbal, I guess what she said a while back on Raw selling her soul is true apparently
I hope Liv wins. I don't want Rhonda to win at all especially after all of Liv's hard work!
This might be really good. Theory is a great one athlete but there's something about him that kinda irks Me. He's a good example about today's generation
Since he's Mr. MITB he should win this and be US champ. I'm still trying to like babyface Lashley more than his all mighty bad @$$ persona. I do like how he tags the fans however.
This might be dandy. Its really something that the Bloodline is got all of the World & Tag titles....
The Profits might win if the special guest ref JJ Jeff Jarrett is a babyface and will have some shenanigans going here on his major double/triple duty in Nashville as he is facing Ric Flair elsewhere the same week end in The Nature Boy's last match. I am hoping that JJ will not be corporate Jarrett and appears in the WWE as a wrestler off and on with possibly more appearances...
and have a reunion with the the Roadie just like the good'ole days of 94 & 95!
I think Happy Corbin should lose this match as McAffe has become such an unexpected babyface. Despite how he has been brought up in the WWE from NXT to the main roster, he is quite gifted.
Logan Paul is a WWE superstar now...
Can you believe it
He's actually in WWE 2K22
IMO he is very generic, looks like many other people yet gets all of this attention
I'm like who
What's so speciale about this guy? Just another chosen one
His first singles match is the Miz...since WWE has totally scraped the enhancement talent/jobber and major releases a long while back, there isn't much practicing for anybody to do now
The Miz is just stuck in these places, when you got TV shows and your H0llyweird for life, there isn't much room here. This match might be good but these 2 are really low on My list
The Judgement Day is really a group that needs more tuning. They don't even come close to others of yesteryears' stables. Since this is the 20th anniversary of Rey Mysterio in the WWE but much longer if you watched him in WCW, ECW and of course Mexico, this match is one way to hype that up especially since he's the cover boy on WWE 2K22. This might be a decent match and I expect Edge to return here!
So that's it. Again, I think it will be entertaining. Thoughts, predictions
