Only claim to fame from my hometown (besides me of course) is Kevin Tapani who pitched for the Twins, Cubs, White Sox, A’s Dodgers and the Mets.

I knew him for a little while and he also taught me how to throw his change-up, which I used a lot and (not to pat myself on the back too much) to some pretty decent success.
