WWE Figures!

Wanna talk about your LJN Hulkster or that weird, skinny body Samoa Joe TNA figure? Maybe you've got some cool wrestling swag? Step up to the gorilla position and snap in to it, oh yeah!

No way! That's awesome, I gotta try that. I've been diving into Stardom lately, mostly for old Kairi and Io matches. But I'm digging on Oedo Tai and Tokyo Cyber Squad.

It's darn awesome. Let me know if you do. The community is huge and the amount of create a wrestlers is pretty huge. There's also a big hacker community and the game looks like a cool 2D arcade wrestling game but the gameplay is really solid although a lot of people seem to spend more time tinkering with AI and simulating.

Current roster for Stardom DLC is:
- Mayu Iwatani
- Momo Watanabe
- Starlight Kid
- Jungle Kyona
- Kagetsu
- Utami Hayashishida
- Arisa Hoshiki
- Hazuki
- Andras Miyagi
- Hana Kimura

If it's anything like the New Japan DLC, there will be more on the way depending on how well this is received. New Japan got a free add-on DLC featuring around 4 new wrestlers and then there was a New Japan Super Juniors DLC. You've got a few members of Tokyo Cyber Squad there already. I'm hoping Kaori Yoneyama is on the way at some point. She's got some crazy costume parts.

Not WWE, but did you guys see Boss Fight's Lucha Libre figures? Pretty cool, especially the swappable parts. Not something I'd buy, but still neat. I wonder if they'd get a shot at an AEW line?

Those look pretty slick. I'd be interested if they had older Lucha guys from the 80s to early 2000s. I'd love an AEW line. I'm currently only collecting Mattel's WWF stuff that they put out on occasion. Can't really get into any of the new guys.

I'm hoping that lucha line digs deeper, but it does look like they're getting into some 90s stuff already with a classic Konnan and Tinieblas Jr. Releasing the Lucha Bros makes total sense for a first wave, though. I'm not sold on AEW, but I'd be going with BFS if I was them. These are definitely quality figures. (I'm also excited they're making female lucha stars -- Here's hoping for Akira Hokotu in her Reina Jabuki gear!)

By the way, check your Wal-Marts, because the WWE Elites are still ringing up for clearance prices due to the reset. I picked up an Ali for $7!

At first I thought she had Barbie hair but the realized it was the hood to her jacket, lol. The face looks much better. I actually bought her first Elite figure but she had a bit of an East German square jaw.

The face sculpts have generally been so much better since True FX. I like that original Paige Elite, but this is as good as you could make one in the current line, I think.
