Oh, both movies are definitely worth watching. Turbo Kid is incredibly fun and has a ton of heart. Summer of '84 starts out fun and gradually develops into a really creepy, dark deconstruction of kids-on-bikes and kid detective stories.

I did enjoy Turbo Kid -- it was a delightfully fun movie to watch and the acting was enjoyable to the point that emotions and heart (like you said) took great pride in doing so. It was my surprise to the year and I told my friends about it and they all went to see Turbo Kid and enjoyed it too.

Last weekend:
-Saw Shonen Knife in concert.
-Saw Hausu & Suspiria on 35mm at the drive-in.
-Went on the best first date of my life.
This weekend:
-Finishing up my new tattoo.
-Oil change & tire rotation.
-Jury duty on Monday.
I should probably space out my fun better.
