Sorry to hear that man, that sucks
Thanks,
Well I've gotten pretty good at using apoxie sculpt and was able to fix the hole in his head there still is slight scar across the left eye, but there is no way that should have passed QC.

Agreed...I guess this is Mattel's way of saying they're glad they're done with the 4-H styled figs and the rest of us fans with our complaints; they just don't care anymore.
At least you're able to fix some of it, but still things like that shouldn't happen this day and age. How does someone (maybe a dozen people see this?) miss damages that badly! Not to mention you spent your money on a defected product.
Did you try to contact Mattel to let them know they eeffed up? Worth a shot...

I just posted in the QC thread over at the mattycollector forum since I had the ability to fix it myself.

I'm not as disappointed with this guys as everyone else, but I agree that he could have been better. Hard to get him into any good poses.
But he does have more articulation than you can see. The elbows bend and swivel as do the ankles and knees. Head's on a ball joint as well. I prefer articulation you can't see, so the lack of cuts in the thigh or forearm aren't a big deal (although I would have rather a cut above his glove than one at his writs). The waist and thigh joints are the ones that mostly prohibit posing.

You have to love apoxie sculpt
Now you can't even tell that there was even a large hole on the top of his head.

I bought one too with Vamp Bats just to come to some end with Mattel.
It would have been cooler if they kept the Unlimited Bat line going with more 6" animated styled Bats from other series as well.
Animated Series Batman
Super Friends Batman
The Batman
JLU Bats
Brave and the Bold Bats

Olds, do you happen to have a picture of Beware Bats' dented head? Just curious for a comparison...
As far as I can tell, the top of his head is as smooth as a baby's bottom...
