Made another Mademoiselle Marie for a commission. As an added bonus, I tried making a French flag from moldable plastic (love that stuff, thanks to HH for telling me about it!) onto a DC Direct base. Probably should've taken a picture of the base too, since I did repaint and sculpt some grass onto it, but too late now, lol.

I don't do Marvel Legends customs for several reasons. The main one is since Hasbro is still churning them out I figure why waste time doing someone they might reveal at NYTF or SDCC when I can work on DC figures from a line that's pretty much dead now (besides Ew52 and Media versions of figures). Also, I actually don't even have them on display right now. Wish I did. Wish I had some more shelf space, but we're going to be building a house on some land we bought within the next year or two so I figure I might as well keep the packed up. And yet, I keep buying MLs hoping that the next leap will be the leap home, I mean, hoping that eventually I'll have that extra room.

But when I saw Hellcat last year revealed for MLs my first thought was, 'Hmmm, Hellcat, that's surprising'. My second thought was, 'Hey now, that's a lot of yellow, perfect for a....'

And so I knew I was going to be getting at least two Patsys because I've wanted a SMAHAF Firestar since I was a kid. Then it was even more annoying when MU put out a 3.75 version. Then I saw MU put out an MJ with a Ms. Lion so I had to scour eBay until a Ms. Lion was auctioned off (since MJ goes for $30 or more, but I got Ms. Lion for $5!). Sadly, the little bugger is packed away somewhere so she's not in these pictures. But Angelica Jones is...

Great looking Firestar, Packer! What head did you use for your Firestar custom?

It's a ML Black Cat head with DCUC Starfire hair. I figured it was a great head to choose to cover up her Felicia's mask without having to sand it down.
