My cast of a fantasy/theoretical MOTU live action movie!

Featuring some of the most creative looking action figures, ever, He-man and the Masters of the Universe and She-Ra Princess of Power has garnered a huge following since it's creation in the early '80s.

My cast of a fantasy/theoretical MOTU live action movie!

Postby BrandonDaCollector » Tue Oct 08, 2013 5:52 am

Well, I got a lot here! This is one of heck of a topic I thought of starting and so I have put together a mega cast of big and little names as well as unknowns which this is really in My opinion an ultimate ensemble casting. Some of these I have had in My mind for years and some are rather quite recent. I envisioned these actors and actresses as the great characters of the MOTU. EVERY character is not here but there is most :o I have also put together a list of directors that I see major possibilities of pulling off a truly epic Masters film. Also, I have put a list of musical composers that I also see as a major possibility of composing great music for the film which undoubtedly IMO needs a large choir and huge amounts of brass. These directors I have chosen KNOWS how important it is to have a fantastic and fitting score in their movies which I do as well being a HUGE, HUGE movie score fan, the music is what makes the movie greater. Anyone whom knows the composers below will know what I'm talking about. Also one side bit is one of the best things about the 1987 MOTU movie WAS the epic and very exciting music by Bruce Broughton which he wrote some really wonderful themes which I wonder if a new movie is made one day will the composer whomever it would be use Bruce's themes or write his own new ones? One more thing, if I have chosen the same actor/actress as you, I'm not copycatting, I'm agreeing but may alter it a bit.

First off, I'd really like a 3 hour - 3 part trilogy like LOTR IMO. This way you could fit in all of the major stories from the mini coimics, Filmation, NA, 200X and the current MOTUC bios and a little of the Dark Horse & DC stuff, introduce the main & minor characters and all of the factions. I'd love a prolog with King Grayskull & He-Ro. He-Man, She-Ra need huge intros and I feel ALL of the characters should have a decent amount of time. The Horde Empire could be the most awesome thing EVER seen on screen with a huge build up and so on!!!!!!!! I personally like a more of an aggressive approach toward it like, blood & guts, deaths similar like a mixture of Star Wars & Conan. Again, there needs to be convincing actors to play them, an epic score and somebody who KNOWS MOTU, and KNOWS how important the franchise is and KNOWS NOT to screw it up because MOTU is the most extraordinary franchise there is IMHO!!!!!!

OK guys, questions, comments, agreements, disagreements are welcomed and appreciated!
