With a movie in the works for late 2016, Marvel's Doctor Strange is beginning to get some better bedside attention -- and those attending Comic-Con International: San Diego have a chance to get something special. Hasbro announced Thursday via USA Today that the surgeon-turned-sorcerer will be featured an Marvel Legends action figure set exclusively available to SDCC attendees.

Packaged in a box to resemble the Book of the Vishanti, the set includes figures for Doctor Strange, Doctor Voodoo, Dormammu, Hela and the X-Men's mutant magic-wielder, Magik. In addition to that, the exclusive set also includes a life-sive Eye of Agamatto.

Think I will gladly pass on this. Hela and Dormammu are the only ones I care about. The book is cool, but with all the other ML stuff due out I think I can live without this.

I'm wanting all of these, but the weakest of the set I would say is the astral form for Strange since it is just the same one getting ready to come out except it's translucent. I kind of wish the boxes were not as cool as they are with these exclusives the hoarder in me is going to have to box it up and put in my attic.

Oh is anyone going to SDCC this year? Being an East coaster it's way to far for me.

Astral Form Doctor Strange!!! I soooooooo want him. If anyone wants to, I'd be willing to split the set 3 and 3. I know some really like the females of some of the waves and since they are in this boxed set, Hela would work well for the Thor figures and Magik would be great for the X-Men/New Mutants. Brother Voodoo looks god but I am vaguely familiar with him. If we could work something out I would be interested in the following 3... but we can negotiate.

Dr. Strange
Eye of Agomotto (would be a nice addition to my Dr. Strange cosplay costume)
Dormammu

If interested PM and hopefully work something out...

Magik is kind of a head scratcher unless something has happened with her and Stephen in the last year I missed. Why not Mordo, Clea, or even Wong? The Ancient One? Anywway, kind of glad this is something I don't feel the need to chase down. After last year I'm almost happy to not have to worry about SDCC.
