They say a hero is only as good as their villains are bad so it's no wonder characters like Batman and Spider-man are so popular, because, let's face it, they probably have the greatest number of really great villains. Sure the Rogues are great Flash villains, and Sabretooth is a great foil for Wolverine, but when you get down to sheer quantity and quality, I think Bats and Peter have the most.
But perhaps that argument is for another thread. So what is this? Well, I've seen a lot of sites use chain games for fun. They're pretty simple, you really just have to follow the post before you by starting your post with the last letter they used. But to spice it up a little bit, to make it a wee more challenging, I thought we'd rotate hero-villain-hero-villain, so that if someone says "Batman" the next person would have to choose a villain whose name begins with an 'N'. Feel free to be creative, too. You can use characters secret identities ( ie: "Galactus" followed by "Steve Rogers" would be acceptable). But comics have grey areas, so there are no real wrong answers. Maybe Lobo is a hero, maybe he's a villain. Punisher? Anti-heros? What of Magneto? Just have fun with it...
So I will start, and what better place to start than the man who probably started it all, sure others came before him but...look!...up in the sky...is it a bird? No, a plane...the Big Boy Scout himself...
