What the heck happened... He looks more like gangsta rap Joker with those capped teeth and ridiculous tattoos. I'm actually hyped for Batman v Superman but after seeing this, I'm even more certain we're going to get Bladerunner Daryl Hannah inspired emo Harley in Suicide Squad. They could have hid those stupid tats under his suit but no, just to remind us, they plaster one right on his forehead.

Go find Marilyn Manson's tainted love video on youtube or something and watch a minute or two (no sound if you don't want). He looks exactly like that, but with short green hair.

Oh no. This is way too big of a departure from the Joker I know for me to digest. I'm pretty open minded too. I hope he doesn't look like that for the whole movie.

Not a fan of the forehead tattoo. As for the teeth, I didn't like them at first, but someone on another forum pointed out how often Batman has knocked the Joker's teeth out, now I think they are kind of awesome. Hopefully the next picture will have him in his wardrobe.

Still can't wait to see his performance!

Funny way of looking at the teeth. I hope this was released just for shock value and that he spends most of the time in his suit. I like Leto's past work.
I hated the Ledger design too with the long hair and across the face facepaint with the scars but his performance made up for it which in the end helped me accept his new appearance and I hope Leto will be able to do the same...

The J tat on his face looks like they're trying to do a Joker version of the teardrop or something... The designer needs a lesson on less is more...

Didn't notice the J until I looked at a larger picture. Pretty much not a fan of any tattoos on his face. I don't mind the rest of the tattoos, I imagine it's just for his prison workout, and maybe escape scene.
