I don't really know. I guess with Marvel, they haven't really given us a superhero show per se so they don't have to sacrifice anything from the cinematic world to TV. They gave us a show primarily about non-powers with cameos but unlike DC, they haven't given us a show about a B-List superhero or A-List in the case of the Flash and Smallville. Like if they did a DC Science Police TV series or Gotham but in a present time setting or Checkmate or CADMUS or ARGUS or even a Daily Planet TV series.

Heck, SHIELD's characters are all original to the TV/cinematic universe with even Nick Fury only making brief cameos on the TV series. SHIELD to me is more along the lines of if WB did a show about Suicide Squad with Rick Flag, Jr., Karin, Hugh and Jess (while unknown to the casual watcher is still a lot more than what ABC gave us with Coulson, invented for the movie, and an all made up for TV team) with occasional tie-ins with Amanda Waller and King Faraday from the cinematic universe with Deadshot and Bronze Tiger on cameo duty.

In this case, I'm happy to keep things separated if that means I can have a TV series about DC's A and B listers like Flash and Arrow that are substantial because they don't need to save all the good stuff for an upcoming two hour movie. Not that I'm saying there's anything wrong with SHIELD's approach. I love SHIELD.

I thought Clancy Brown was a pretty cool choice for Eiling. I wonder with Plastique and Eiling, if Captain Atom will be making some kind of appearance even as plain old Nathaniel Adam. In a way, Plastique was like a surrogate Captain Atom. A pawn of Eiling, becoming a living bomb when severely wounded, etc.

I was thinking of the same thing ... now that I just watched the last show that I missed and I liked your observations about Plastique like a surrogate Captain Atom. Good Call on that.

Plastique's emergency contact was Cameron Scott which is apparently Nathaniel Adam's alias or vice versa. I don't really know. I was never a big Captain Atom fan. I googled it when I heard the name and the results were inconsistent.

I missed Tuesday Night Show and I was caught up helping a friend of mine to move ... and I hope that last night show was good. Anyone has anything to share?

I recorded it but haven't seen it yet. I know Girder's the villain and Barry looks like he got smacked around pretty good...

I liked the episode but I didn't think the villain was as good as some of the ones we've seen so far.

The villain was the most boring among them in my opinion, but the episode itself to me rocked. The ending was mostly what made it, but the fight between Girder and The Flash was also pretty awesome.

No love for Girder, I see. Not really a surprise. Even in the comics, he is one that looks very out of place with the rest of the Flash rogues gallery and not in a good way.

Was that Girder? I thought it was Colossus.
