Donna Troy

Postby 1987olds442 » Mon Sep 30, 2013 1:17 pm

Donna Troy
Donna is just a minor mod I made when I first started making customs action figures. I didn't like the small arms/biceps that Mattel gave her "Donna is a Amazon after all", so I swapped her biceps out with Power Girl's biceps. Now I have a more buff Donna for my collection.

Sinestro

Postby 1987olds442 » Mon Sep 30, 2013 1:25 pm

Sinestro
I really didn't like Sinestro's short forearms and tiny hands. This one was pretty simple all I did was swap their forearms and repainted them to match. The only thing his ring is on the wrong hand, but I can live with it :) I later on after bought some new paint I painted Sinestro's forearm bands metallic blue.

Batgirl

Postby 1987olds442 » Mon Sep 30, 2013 1:27 pm

Batgirl
This is an early modification that I if did to my DCSH Batgirl. Like most I thought that Batgirl's arms were too short, so I swapped them with DCUC Star Sapphire's biceps and forearms. I modified the Star Sapphire's forearms where I could attach Batgirl's gloves and retail the swivel articulation. Then finally painted the arms gray.

Batman

Postby 1987olds442 » Wed Oct 02, 2013 1:08 pm

Batman
This one started out as a simple repair for my DCSH Batman. His right hip was stuck and snapped off, so I replaced both upper legs with a set of DCUC Superman thighs painted to match. I also repainted his face and painted all the blue parts of his costume black.

Robin

Postby 1987olds442 » Wed Oct 02, 2013 1:10 pm

Robin
Here is another simple update. I didn't like the way the collar made him look like he didn't have a neck. I trimmed off the collar, painted his neck black, trimmed his jaw line, repainted his skin tone.

Hey olds, are the forearms on that Young Justice Robin thicker than standard DCUC arms?

They kind of look that way, but they are about the same as Kid Flash's forearms. But they are too big for the body... the arms that Mattel made for this young teen body are way to buff.

Green Lantern - Hal Jordan

Postby 1987olds442 » Fri Oct 04, 2013 10:27 am

Green Lantern - Hal Jordan
This is just a head swap, but makes for a huge improvement in my opinion. The body is the Jordan from the GL & Zodac TRU 2pk and the head is from DCD Blackest Night Jordan.
