Tarantula
Liberty Belle
Johnny Quick
Amazing Man
Firebrand
Shining Knight
Robotman
What a damn shame this and other groups will never see completion due to
the NU DCU.

Y'know what I call that? A good start. One of the biggest losses of this whole 'only five years' idea...
Every time I start to think I've done too many All-Star Squadron members, I look at this and realize I still have 48 from just this image to still do, lol.

Given what DC Direct has produced in the past, I'd be content with my All Star Squadron collection with custom figures of Mr. Terrific, Firebrand (Danette), Judomaster, Shining Knight, Ma Hunkel, Johnny Quick, Vigilante, Tigress and one of the females I'm CERTAIN Mattel was going to do this year AND one of my most anticipated figures since the subscription started, Liberty Belle.

I'm always surprised at the popularity of Libby. I know she was prominent in the series, but it still surprises me somewhat. There's probably no way I ever get a full set of the image above, but I'd like to do Firebrand (Rod--may re-do Dannette too) TNT, Stripesy, Squire, Spy Smasher, Max Mercury, Johnny Thunder, Jester, Blackhawk, and the remaining Freedom Fighters.

Although there's nothing that really stands out about her, I love her design. I wish I could sculpt collars like the pros. If I could, I'd have her already.

A non-raised collar really shouldn't be that difficult. Painting the bell was the hardest part for me.

I know the All SS was made up of almost 100 members at full roster but to me it was those main 10 characters that Roy focused on in the book that stood out as gospel.
Having Guardian and Commander Steel were great starts at hope for more but Mattel had better fish to fry instead.
Injustice Batman should have been Johnny Quick
Injustice Joker should have been Amazing Man
The Lantern wave could have been anything else than what it was.
Just sad to see the wasted opportunities.
I even bought a scale Trylon and Perisphere to use as a display piece one day.
