Is the Super Powers packaging a clue?

Discuss the ever popular character comprehensive line "DC Universe Classics" here! This also includes DC Superheroes, DC Universe Classics, DC Unlimited, Batman Unlimited, Club Infinite Earths, Movie Masters, 1966 Batman TV Series, Club Black Freighter, Total Heroes and any other DC figure line utilizing the 6" scale.

I'll second that. They are doing a better job on the Total Heroes box art but at the cost of the figures, which are a giant step back from DCUC figures.

And what makes it really sad is how many resources Matty sinks into packaging - the paintings on the DCIE stuff were almost always bizarre and strange. They should have just used a picture from the comics.

Or, take a cue from SW Black and just do plain packaging. "A sexy cover isn't why an album sells. You tell me - The White Album? What was that? There was nothing on that goddamn cover." Name that movie!
