Wrestling: Vintage & Classic times!

Oh my God! It's the Karl Gotch of wrestling sections, step inside to catch all the latest on everything else from the defunct to Terry Funk, Dusty Rhodes to Rip Rogers, the Nature Boy to the Natural Born Thrillers to the National Treasure. Vince Russo says, bro, this is the place to be, bro.

Talking about WCCW, for some reason I always remembered Mr. 705 Ted Arcidi from there. I'm sure I must've remembered him from his brief WWF stint, but then he showed up down there and it must've been one of the few names I actually recoginzed (I was only 10 and it's not like Al Gore had invented the internet yet!). Anyway, when I bought Legends of Wrestling for the X-Box when it came out, you could really go in depth to creat a wrestler, and it was time consuming and a pain in the arse, so I found a forum where people posted their own formulas to help each other out. It saved a lot of time, but I wanted to help out so I picked really obscure guys and wound up doing Outback Jack and Ted Arcidi.

Anyone remember Outback Jack?

Weirdly enough, we'd learned this song in our music class just a few years earlier so when he had WWF vignettes it was something that caught my attention as a kid.
"Somewhere in a lonely hotel room, there's a guy starting to realize that eternal fate has turned its back on him. It's 2 AM."

Heck yeah I remember Outback Jack, he was there in 86-88. In fact, there was a ton a great obscure wrestlers back then in the 80s WWF (we'll get to that later). I believe he still does the gimmick to this day at special events now and then. When WWE was in Australia at Super Showdown a few years ago, I was hoping that he would show up there just for a cameo or something but as usual nothing happen and it was such a pathetic missed opportunity IMO

Cool that you got Outback Jack and Ted Arcidi during the early days of CAWs :o I missed a lot in the 2000s when it came to gaming, I was on a big hiatus from it till about 2014 when I got My first XBOX 360.
