I just realized that Mr Barris passed away...so sad

He passed this morning, from what I read.

Big fan of his signature car: the Batmobile, but also admired his other works like the Monkey-mobile, and the Munster's car.
He's rightly a legend.

we lose the good ones way too soon...

I met George Barris once in my hometown Seattle of where he brought with him the Batmobile, Munster Car, and couple other cars that I can't recall seeing. But, he was a fascinating man a visionary in working with cars and I've to admit he was so knowledgeable that he entertains you in a way that's makes you want to hear more.

He was a kind, gentle, and loves his fans ... George Barris - and that's he loves the most!
