Today is May 11, that means it's My Father's Birthday. I know I have said some bad things about him in the past but over time I have tried to put that all behind Me over the decades. I'm not going to talk negative about him here. If you have read My posts about him then you know the bad & good stuff about him. However, you never met him via pictures. Meet My Dad...Paul "Buddy" Miller

He was born May 11th, 1960. He passed away in 2015. Sadly, this year marks his 65th B-Day and the 10th Anniversary of his passing

Here's a picture of him and Me together at Showbiz Pizza in South County next to K-Mart

Here he is with his Father-in-law, My Grandpa PoPo along with Myself when I was a youngster at Showbiz Pizza (I posted a lot of Showbiz Pizza before). They were about the same size at six feet tall and a solid 200 pounds. The were the two most important men of My life

As you see, Buddy (as everyone called him, even Me) was quite a character, he had his ways

Here's a great picture of him holding Me at the old great house. It's such a shame I do not recall this wonderful moment but at least I know it happen

Also, on his left arm, he has a big Tiger Tattoo similar like the late great wrestler Earthquake (My Dad loved wrestling, I believe My love for wrestling sparked happen with him). I sure remember when he got that, I recall the bandage, the blood and his soreness and at the time I didn't understand what was going on, then later I did

Here's a quote from My Ghostbusters Topic:
BrandonDaCollector wrote:#2. I was only 3 years old when the film came out. My Father Buddy, was a projectionist at the Kenrick Wehrenberg Theater on Watson near Crestwood Plaza...

He'd bring home stuff like this that I still proudly have on My Wall

After My Mom divorced him, and he moved out of their house. He moved backed in with his parents. I got to know to My Grandparents & 2 Aunts (his sister Barbara had long blond hair and was 6 feet tall, I was in awe about that then) on his side when I visited him every week for a long while from 86 - 87. I didn't like it that much compared staying with My actual Grandparents & Mom but it had its moments, and they were all good to Me. Now, here's a picture from My all-crucial Odds & Ends of his house right on the corner of the background. This pic was part of My Imo's Pizza Baseball Special. We could just walk there and pickup that great St. Louis Style Pizza (every Missourian knows Imo's Pizza and how good they are) and have a good time. In fact, these times were some of My first times of Pizza besides Showbiz Pizza & Pizza Hut but these times were of "LOCAL" Pizza times and was My start of paying attention & appreciating local stuff. As My Auntie Wanda used to say, if it ain't Imo's, it ain't Pizza

He loved
Drag Races and took Me to a few but I wasn't into it and didn't appreciate the radical sport

He also loved
K-SHE 95 which I posted a lot of before. Unfortunately, I didn't appreciate this with him either

We also went to the Drive-In where he also worked that I've spoke of previously.

The only movie that I recall seeing was Good Morning Vietnam but I wasn't interested in that as well

He liked Bowling which I did too but mostly I wanted the food and to play the Arcades which this would continue with My Mom and My Grandparents in later years. When Me & Buddy went, We went to the location on Arsenal & Kingshighway. Unfortunately, that whole building with Walgreens has been leveled for many years so all that history is sadly gone

He wasn't tight with money, and he did try to please Me with stuff. Over in
K-Mart Plaza on Gravois & Morgan Ford, he got Me a ton of
Hasbro's Battle Beasts. To this day, I still regret not keeping them which I think about all the time

I have posted some really good moments about him & Me. I mentioned earlier that he loved wrestling. He always said to Me, "wanna watch some yang-yang"

Unfortunately, the most I recall was seeing The Honky Tonk Man which again, sparked My love for pro wrestling

My fondest moment however was when I discovered one of My most favorite movies of ever of all-time in 1986/1987. Now this I remember clearly. I was visiting him, and it was late at night like 12:00 AM Midnight, perhaps even later which I have always loved this. He had HBO or some other cable channel like that. He sounded like Sylvester Stallone in a way and he was asking Me if I wanted to see this movie called Big Trouble in Little China. I was ok Buddy, I love fighting. So, We got Our Caffeine Free Pepsi in the gold cans and got Our KAS BBQ Chips in the double bags from Tru-Buy down the street where My Mom worked for a time and Me & My Grandma MiMi went to a lot because it was just walking distance (they were the best potato chips ever!) and We watched the movie like a good Father & Son duo. Gosh, how I'd want that night again. Now, if you have noticed over the course of time here, My Avatar is of Lightning from Big Trouble in Little China. That there is of in honor of My Father

We saw a lot of spooky & action movies late at night like that. Others that come to mind is The Eliminators, Dolls & King Kong Lives.

Whenever I see Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back during the iconic Darth Vader & Luke Skywalker Bespin/Cloud City scene, I always think about Buddy and Me. Believe you Me, if I had the chance now, I would join My Father

Always talk & acknowledge about the important people, places, stores & times of your life so they never fall to Oblivion in this Limbolic age because everyday that you don't, is another chance they may fall to Oblivion during this Oblivious era. So, that will conclude My Dad's Birthday. You can see what kind of man he was and what he liked and that he tried to be a good Father. I have some more cool stuff about him later on including for Halloween

I miss you My Dad, I hope somehow, someway you're seeing this wherever you are and that you know that your son did something for you on/for your special day
