This probably one of my favorite's out of all 23 issues. I loved Darkseid's origin. Really cool to see how he became who he became. Y'all should pick it up and read it, if you haven't already!

I didnt mind it. Not a lot happened, But it was cool to see Darkseid in a little bit of a different light.

It was ok. I liked the art the best. But like a lot of these villain issue and actually New52 in general, it just feels soulless to me. I don't know.

Agreed.They really feel like 90s image books. And I dont even hate 90s image stuff. But it does feel a little hollow. With the exception of "Batman" and the Green Lantern stuff. Batman has a real good 70s-80s feel to it, and G.L. really came out unscathed from the relaunch. Its all editorial. No focus on books. And I know everyone dislikes him, but when rob Liefield thinks things are too wishy washy and there's no cohesiveness, thats a problem. lmao.

The Image comparison is pretty apt. A lot of the characters and their designs just feel generic and lifeless. But Leifeld should learn cohesiveness between his upper- and lower-torsos before he casts stones, lol. Is Image United done yet?

Oh, Image United. LMfao!!!!! the definition of too many cooks in the kitchen. I don't know why everyone rags on Liefield so much. I think he draws Captain America really well.(Im absolutely joking)
