Yeah. Many of the DC Nation shorts make me wish for a full length series.
Although it's annoying when they give up on them mid way, like with the atom.

I'd watch the hell out of a Princess Amethyst series just like the short.

I wasn't aware that they stopped producing the Atom shorts. That's too bad. I really enjoyed that one. I also really liked the Doom Patrol stuff. The animation was very good. I like that they all have different styles of animation as well. The Shade the Changing Man short was pretty awesome, too. I'm glad they have the spotlight on more than just their standard Big 7! Princess Amethyst looks precisely like something that benefits from extra exposure from this kind of treatment.

All I know about the atom is about four "episodes" in they just stopped.

Didn't know there were Doom Patrol shorts. The only thing that really irritates me about these is they'll likely never get any kind of DVD release. Which they totally deserve a compilation.

Cool! I'll be looking forward to these when they air them in their entirety. I'd go crazy for a Princess Amethyst DC Nation short. :wwgrin:

They did Amethyst. They did an entire series for her.
I think Lauren Faust wrote it. Kinda looked like Derrick Wyatt's artstyle, if a really great anime company ran with it.

I'd never heard of that character or comic before. I'd thought it was some crazy cool reimagining of Star Sapphire until a good friend told me otherwise.

Yeah, honestly, if I didn't see it on DC's homepage, I wouldn't have even have known they did them. I assume they aired in the US Cartoon Network but the Canadian Cartoon Network might not have aired them at all which is why you probably never saw them.
