I was at a Medi Centre a week ago for something unrelated and there was a little girl there who was coughing and I kept thinking to myself, "Please stay away." lol. She was running around and sure enough I'm pretty sure I caught it from her.
I have imbibed cold medicine, sucked on a lozenge or three, smeared vapour rub on my chest to envelope me in a halo of menthol stink.
Oh, and I have given said cold my unreserved, remorseless spite and venom.
I might even ambush it with hot chicken soup, and may even escalate to adding in some garlic.
There are no Marquis de Queensbury rules with head colds.
So send the kid back my way and I'll give the cold BACK TO HER!
The 'board in progress........well, what can I show? It's the "origin" of one of the characters in Don't Feed the Humans and......well, there's a sex scene.
I could show you that.....Or could I? Should I? The naughty scenes are risqué, but not revealing. There's safety blurs for any naughty bits, but still.........there wouldn't be any context without reading the script. The drawings are somewhat rougher than what you have seen of my work here, and as the panels are not as-yet approved, I have no idea if they'll even use the shots I've drawn.
Let me know.......I could probably sneak in a jpeg or three.
On Spawn, niiiice figure, I read a tip on how to get the stand to avoid sagging and so far it's working. Nice POAs on the figure, but clearly it's McFarlane Toys doing things it's own way. It's like trying to be Marvel Legends but NOT be Marvel Legends.
The cape is a heavy vinyl/rubbery plastic, but is moveable, not really poseable.
It's segregated all over so it can drape in certain ways. Think of a segmented Doctor Strange cape ( from Marvel Legends) in feel/texture. The cross/steeple stand is really neat, and it is not sagging as many have reported. I think though, it's going to end up being a home for a ML Daredevil figure before long. It IS a pricey figure, but it's one I've long wanted, and didn't want to wait any longer for. Spawn though.......is out of scale with ML--he's taller by about an inch, but that is another McFarlane Toys thing.
