Okay, thanks PB :) Good you seen that. There was shocking stuff before that too  Well, if you don't have Peacock see if you can go to a Putlocker or 123Movies. They have the whole series there. As I said, there's only 8 episodes and only 30 minutes each though the 6th episode did reach 50 minutes but their way shorter without commercials so there's really not a lot of time to invest. Besides, they're so engaging the time goes by so fast. However, watching them on a small screen will not do it justice, it's best to see'em on a large screen for the full effect. Get ready for a new entry very soon :blbat:

Those were funny and pretty accurate to how misleading and dishonest a lot of political commercials are. Our local district attorney, who I didn't vote for this morning but not because of political ads, got arrested as a teen like 45 years ago and the commercials were like, "Candidate A was arrested for something and was put on probation. We can't trust candidate A." And I'm like, if we disqualify everyone for dumb things they did as a teen then we really would only have psychopaths and sociopaths in office and not just 50% of people in office.

So before I enter My next entry in My Horror Topic where it's always spooky, I wanted to quote Me & Packer when we were doing his Word Game Topic which was a spooky Halloween edition that was in various months earlier on within the year that I thought would be very apropos to post here within My Horror Topic

From January 2024, NOTE: When you see the Cosplay babe with the big boobs looking like Elvira, that's Hannah Minx from 2018's Slay Belles, a horror Christmas comedy I entered a while back here in My Horror Topic :!:

I can't believe that the super fun spooky time known as Halloween has already been done & dusted for over a week now  It's always so bittersweet when society moves on to the next Holiday but with horror freaks like Myself, we don't let Halloween go so easily. I like the concept of Halloweenthanksmas I mean ever since I was little I thought all three Holidays went hand in hand and like many things that goes hand in hand like Martial Artists, Boxers & Wrestlers I mean it's all so fun to be a part of it all for example and if you're a fan of Disney's Nightmare Before Christmas then you know the Holidays goes hand in hand rather well :blbat: :scww: :blsm:

Image

With that being said, I will continue to add more great entries no matter what time of season it is which this the place where's it's always spooky :batwink: So here's My next entry. It's a double feature which I will have many double features coming soon. This one is about House on Haunted Hill which I will focus on the original and the remake :o

First up is the original 1959 movie :!:

Image

It's directed by great classic movie director William Castle. If you recall and go back within My great Horror Topic, I greatly spotlighted his other fine movie he'd make a short time later called 13 Ghosts

Image
Image
Image
Image

In fact, I knew about 13 Ghosts before I knew House on Haunted Hill :o

Image

House on Haunted Hill is a well-known film yet I don't think it's on everybody's must see list for Halloween, this along with 13 Ghosts is a must IMO :blbat:

Image
Image
Image

It's about an eccentric millionaire who invites five people to a party he is throwing for his fourth wife, Annabelle, in an allegedly haunted house he has rented and promises to give each guest $10,000 with the stipulation that they stay the entire night in the house after the doors are locked at midnight :blbat: It stars St. Louis's own Vincent Price which one day I may do a feature about him :batwink:

Image

Also in the film is Carol Ohmart

Image

Julie Mitchum is in the film. If you don't know, she's Robert's sister...look at her, she looks just like him :o

Image

and a host of others.

Image

It has some classic scary moments :!:

Image
Image
Image

Here's the spooky trailer :blbat: :blww:

Here's the remake that came out in 1999 during the last of the classic days :blbat: :blww: :blsm:

Image

The remake has the same plot with some changes & additional storylines and stars James Woods or wait a minute :?

Image

No, that's Geoffrey Rush  When I first saw him the film way back in the day I he looked like James Woods...he plays Stephen Price...get the name

Image
Image

Also the great looking, six-foot 1 Famke Janssen (GoldenEye 007, Deep Rising, X-Men Franchise) is in the film.

Image
Image

Bridgette Wilson from Mortal Kombat 95.

Image

Peter Gallagher & Ali Larter are in the film.

Image

A very young Taye Diggs is too.

Image

Chris Kattan who was like your new type of comedian.

Image

Also Peter Graves as himself :!:

Image

Now very underrated horror & sci-fi actor Jeffery Combs is in the film. To Me he's always been a deuce-mixture of Bruce Campbell & Jim Carey. Despite he's been in many H.P. Lovecraft & Charles Band films, he really doesn't get the recognition he should have

Image

As a big surprise, Slavitza Jovan has cameo...

Image

If you don't know her, she played the original Gozer in 1984's Ghostbusters :blww:

Image

Here's the trailer to the remake :blaq:

Here's the song that played a big part in the film...Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This) by Marilyn Manson :!:

Here's these two great cues by Don Davis (The Matrix Trilogy & Jurassic Park ///). His great music really made this movie even more then what it was :blbat:

As you know, I greatly spotlighted both the original & remake of 13 Ghosts that came out in 1960 & 2001, well I find it rather strange that they remade 1959's House on Haunted Hill in 1999 which are both William Castle movies

Image
Image

That's all for, I hope you liked that, more great spooky stuff to come soon, until then I'll see you around :blbat:

Before I get to My unexpected and downright sad post, check out My special double feature from a couple days ago of House on Haunted Hill :blbat:

Now, yesterday I found out that Horror icon Tony Todd has died at the age of only 69 after battling a long illness which is one of the terms that has been trending recently :o :batsmh: :wwsmh: :smsmh:

Image

Here's this short news clip

Now, if you know Me, I don't leave things being sad for long because here's a bit of Tony Todd. I'm not going to detail this much, just enough to show you what he was known for. I first saw him in 1990's Night of the Living Dead which is the great & horrific remake of the 1968 classic :blaq:

Image

I really noticed him in 1992's Candyman :o

Image

I love his voice. In this scene of Candyman, this is why he is one of the best Icons of Modern Horror :blsm:

Now take a good long gander at this. Tony Todd was in Wes Craven's The Wishmaster in 1997, 27 years ago this year. He was with other icons of horror Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger) & Kane Hodder (Jason Voorhees :blbat: :blww: :blsm:

Image

He was also in 2000's Final Destination :!:

Me & My Mom recently saw a great movie on Peacock that Tony Todd co-starred with a young Tom Hardy called The Minotaur that came out in 2006. Now My Mom brought to My attention it was weird that We saw then movie about on the day he he passed away which was November 6th

Image

Now, Me & My Mom last night did a small tribute, we watched this 2018 Western Horror on Peacock that's titled West to Hell that stars Tony Todd as well as Michael Eklund & Lance Henriksen :!:

Image

It was a very dandy & uniqe movie. Here's the Trailer :blbat:

May Tony Todd Rest in Peace

Image

I may one day focus on them films that I mentioned but for now I have My plans and soon I have another double feature so be alert for that :blbat:

Before I began, don't forget to check all of the recent stuff I've posted including My tribute to horror Icon Tony Todd. So today is Black Friday, a day when plebeians can't wait to get Thanksgving over with so they can hurry up. go and camp out to their stores for hours in the freezing weather just to so just a meezling buck and be a "door-buster" :batsmh: :wwsmh: :smsmh: So with that being said, here's this duo of films to show sh horror of Black Friday :blaq: First up is the Universal Monster's 1940 Classic...

Image
Image
Image

Yes, that the one that stars both Boris Karloff & Bela Lugosi :blbat: :blsm:

Image
Image

I love the Posters :batwink:

Image
Image

By looking into Kaloff's eyes, you cannot deny this is the man that played The Mummy & Frankenstein :!:

Image
Image

Lugosi on the other hand is a bit different here...

Image
Image

However, he is still scary :blbat:

Image

you also had guys like Edmund MacDonald :!:

Image

There's classic beauties here which is Anne Nagel...

Image

and Anne Gwynn :batwink:

Image

I love how the film shows the Newspaper headlines :)

Image
Image
Image
Image

So, here's the original classic trailer from 1940 :blsm:

If you want to see the entire film...YouTube has the movie for free  I suggest you watch it on your big screen TV because smaller ones like phones do not give you the impact that they should.

As bonus, Me & Packer talked about the dark horror comedy Black Friday movie that came out in 2021 starring Bruce Campbell & Michael Jai White....

Image

here's the insane trailer

Isn't weird that Bruce Campbell works at a Toy Store in the film and in 1992/93's Army of Darkness he also worked at S-Mart :batconfused: :wwshock: :smhuh:

Well, that's it for this update. I intend to do special Trilogy edition of the Evil Dead films, I just need more time. I have a lot in store coming up with a lot of cool horrific movie that you don't want to miss, until the next one, I'll see you around :blbat:

The Bruce Campbelll movie isn't bad if you go in expecting a Bruce Campbell movie. I never knew about the other one. Just a little different since modern Black Friday didn't really begin until the 80s.

Many believe the term was adopted to describe the day that stores that have been “in the red” in their ledger books would be “in the black” as people shopped. But according to Britannica, that is not true.

“Black Friday” to signify the busy shopping day dates back to the 1960s and police officers in Philadelphia who used it “to describe the chaos that resulted when large numbers of suburban tourists came into the city to begin their holiday shopping and, in some years, attend Saturday’s annual Army-Navy football game.,” Britannica said.

After a couple of years, Philly retailers started calling the day of deals “Black Friday” but it really didn’t take hold nationwide until the 1980s, and when store owners started using it to describe the accounting terms and putting their annual sales helping them be” in the black.” In reality, while a marketing ploy, most stores have their biggest shopping day the Saturday before Christmas.
