Oh that was a good BMW, I didn't expect that ending :)

I didn't post this one before, this might be the final one of Goedeker's Superstore in 1999, 25 years ago this year

That BMW was before the wedding. I wanted to do the honeymoon episode but there wasn't enough clips from it for some reason.

Good Middle. Shame, yet again lack on YT  Okay, I want you to meat a couple news anchors that I've known since My childhood on TV. First here's Dick Ford. He was already a big one by time I noticed news on TV. Sadly he died at the age of 88 a couple years ago. Here's this special video of him. You'll see Mandy Murphy there. I've known her since I was a youngster too. I'll show her tomorrow because in this video you can't really get a good look at her. Listen to what she says at the end of the video from Fox 2...it's very sweet :wwwink:

Now, you already know Mike Bush, here's KSDK Channel 5's special about Dick Ford because he was there too :)

Yeah, we have a bunch of local news personalities that I remember being on the air since I was a kid (like Tom Joles). It's the end of an era as they pass. You don't often see newspeople stay forever on one channel in one city. At least not here.

That was some Perfect Strangers for Thanksgiving there. Shame how people don't show their local stuff of now and especially the past because the past was just funner IMO, everyday that goes by that they don't is another day that history has a chance to go into limbo and everyday I think of this  St. Louis has so many great ones and great things and as you seen from Me here and in My Showcases, I've been doing My best to show it & My experiences :)

Okay, now as I said yesterday as you saw a tiny bit of her, here's Mandy Murphey. I always thought she was so pretty. Over time when I'd watch her on Fox 2, I realize that she just wasn't a pretty face, she was good at her job. For instance, here's this investigation she did well over a decade ago in 2010 of the Boonie Hat Bandit in St. Louis :!: The Boonie Hat Bandit is St. Louis' most notorious bank robber as he robbed 12 banks in the St. Louis area over a ten month period in just 2 years  He agreed to his first local television interview with Fox 2's veteran Mandy Murphey. She talked with him several times from inside the St. Louis County Jail :batwink:

Now, to get to know her a bit more, here's this special video of her through the years of her career. You'll see her with Dick Ford. Look how young she was yet still looks good in this recent video

Here's this that she was a part of :wwwink:

And here's this special, "Tell me a Story" that she did a couple years ago, this was super nice

I hope you liked that and like her :)

Wow, that sure was some 90s hairdos in her early days. Maybe I'll do some of our local newscasters in time. Right now I was focusing on Thanksgiving for the moment.

That looked fun. They used to have a tube slide like that near Niagara Falls but I never actually tried it. Closed years ago.
