Never heard of this guy? That's ok, last time he actually appeared in a comic he was already dead on a slab in a morgue. Yeah, he was such an important character that they never bothered to actually show him die. Anyway, saw a picture of this guy while researching another Green Arrow villain and thought he'd be an easy repaint of a Vigilante figure. Nothing amazing here, just another background character for the shelf...
"Somewhere in a lonely hotel room, there's a guy starting to realize that eternal fate has turned its back on him. It's 2 AM."
Interesting Subject Matter Packerbacker! ... What so cool about this costume and action figure that you put together is the pockets in his boots. You did a great job on it and I like this character too.
Vengeance is an ultra-cool name for a villain!
The Helmet of Fate, Amulet of Anubis, and the Cloak of Destiny Awaits You!
Doctor Fate and Fate of the World ... are the same person ... the reason for two accounts is to add more photographs to this forum.
I started this figure before last season of Arrow ended. Been working on her on and off. Had hoped to get a fishnet look on her arms, but line-work kept scratching the paint off so I decided to just paint the arms a darker color, hoped that sufficed well enough, and move on to something new. Can't say I read the issues Cupid originally appeared in until after I decided to make her, but I enjoyed the character on Arrow, so I figured could make her and have enough of a loose connection to the Suicide Squad to put her on that shelf (plus, it put to use a Fire body I had in the fodder bin--love that $6 sale). Anyway, any thoughts welcomed. Maybe down the line I'll try to rework the arms, but for now I'm walking away.
