I really like your Martian Manhunter, man. I like all of them, but I'm a big fan of him so I'm a bit bias. :batwink:

I started out with a Hawkwoman base and a Big Barda head. I sanded down the details on the body and sculpted the bodice. Fringe is from duct tape. I tried really hard through trial and error to get a decent skin tone. Not sure I like the fringe in the crotch area, seems small and awkward. Let me know what you think.

Thanks guys, she was a project that was started back in the fall and I was very slow making progress. I am glad the results worked out.

This has been on my to do list for a long time. I was never sure about sculpting all those flames... Then I saw a rendition by Optimusleo and I had a recipe to work with. The secret ingredient? Hot Glue!! I started with a Dr Impossible, sculpted a little flame on his head, and a flame piece coming off his chest. I sculpted his wrists and leg bands, then base coated everything black. I went over his body twice with red and painted the bands silver. The flame pieces were painted orange and the head and neck were painted white. I went over the whole figure with a matte varnish...then the fun began! Hot glue, I hit the head and neck as well as the wrists and ankles. The glued up parts were then painted with yellow and orange. Let me know what you think
