Thanks Savant , Dr. Fate , and Acid for the positive feedback and comments. It's always great to hear what your peers think of the custom work that you've completed.
I kept seeing dirtied up versions of the Walgreens exclusive C-3PO and was itching to try it for myself. At first, I thought I put too much wash on, until I went back and compared mine with the others, that I've seen online.
Luke is almost a completely repainted Episode III Obi Wan, with a cloth skirt, and custom cast head, lightsaber hilt, & robot hand. He has a custom cloth cloak. He was actually sold on ebay, so I'm working on another one for myself.
Peter Parker is that terrible Batman v. Superman Lex Luthor figure. I had seen that recipe used somewhere, and it seemed like a perfect fit. At one point, I picked up a few of those Lex Luthor figures, from Amazon, for an astoundingly cheap price of $2.49!!! I used a cast Peter Parker cast head, and it's completely hand-painted. I bought casts of the camera, added small, metal screw-in eyelets(which I bent into a flat shape, on top, instead of circular), and made the cloth camera strap. That Spiderman mask is a cast piece, and had to paint ever small red shape, between the molded -in webbing. WHAT A PAIN! LOL.
I made THREE of those Peter Parker figures, so that was 3 of those masks, that I had to paint. I kept one for myself and sold one on ebay and have the other one up now. Plus, I was able to sell off the extra Bat Grapnel build-a-gun piece, which offset the cost of buying the Lex figures, and the head/camera/mask casts.
