Thanks fellas!

It's snowing like crazy outside, so I decided to build something that could take it:

Awesome model... I use to build model a lot when I was young, and movie/TV cars were my favorites. Great work :)

Epic customs, Doc. Those two Batman's look great. Really curious what you have in store for those 6 castings.

Love the Doc Magnus and that great sculpted head. Is there a clean and easy way to "crack" a suited body, without doing alot of repairs to the body? Any instructions would be appreciated. I'd like to swap the upper torso or Ra's al Ghul with Black Mask's. I like the red tie and cleaner-looking shirt on the black suit body. I'm going to try a Bruce Wayne custom. I already have the Bruce head for it.

Hey Wally,

Thank you for the kind words!

I don't have success with cracking DCUC bodies, because I rarely get them to go cleanly. I would say that the suit buck gives you an out, because the rubber jacket hides all sins.

As an alternative, Tamiya acrylic paint tends to go over DCUC plastics really really well. I would grab a large flat brush and a jar of flat black and maybe save yourself some trauma.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me them at my honking new Atomic Deane's Thread of Many Wonders:

Thanks for getting back to me, Doc. I might take your advise about just painting his suit flat black. On the other hand, I may get brave and try to carefully crack the body, to do the swap. Like you said, that rubber jacket can hide any boo-boos.

Any hints or tricks to getting the rubber "vest" off a suited buck without damaging it? I'm guessing you put both arms up and slip it off like you would a t-shirt. Is it usually glued onto the figure?
