Oh my God! It's the Karl Gotch of wrestling sections, step inside to catch all the latest on everything else from the defunct to Terry Funk, Dusty Rhodes to Rip Rogers, the Nature Boy to the Natural Born Thrillers to the National Treasure. Vince Russo says, bro, this is the place to be, bro.
I just posted the late great Matt Borne's time in ECW and told the story...here's his super fun theme as the maniac Borne Again which I loved this entire time, and this Tron shows you many great moments including being a Deux mixture of being Big Josh & Doink the Clown
The Past isn't a Wilderness of Horrors - We Grow Old Because We Stop Playing - DTA - If it's been done in a movie, then most likely it's already been done in Real Life - ALWAYS Watch the Skies - Question Everything, FTW! = Me + Various <-->
Well darn, I hope you saw his great Doink the Clown Tron that I posted, that is just so dang cool Joe Gacy's theme is crazy
Okay, I just posted two faces of the great Mike Shaw in the Promo Topic, I suggest you go there before you play this great spooky theme so you know what is going on. So, here's one of Shaw's most memorable gimmicks as Norman the Lunatic. This music is so good, I've loved this for years and this Tron shows you some great lunacy moments of his in WCW in 1989-1990
Tomorrow I will post two of his WWF gimmicks in 93 that I liked

It was used many times in the arenas so it had to have had some effect. Ah, Jimmy Havoc, good theme. Progress wrestling is good.
Okay, I just posted two of the late great Mike Shaw's gimmicks in the Promo Topic that was great. I explain much there. First, this was his only appearance as Friar Fergusson which as I said there, it was such a shame because the gimmick was decent. Now he had a great Theme and this was a precursor to Mankind's in 1996. Strangely, I have always thought that this sounded like Mark Snow and NOT Jim Johnston Coincidently Mark Snow composed the music for The X-Files which debuted just months after Friar Ferguson in the great year of 93...coincidence If you listen to Snow's excellent music and know his wonderful sound, then you'll know what I'm talking about Anyway, it's a fantastic theme
Now, when Shaw was repackaged & debuted as Bastion Booger, he came out with a simple but very eerie theme...watch & listen

Make sure you see & hear Friar Ferguson & Bastion Booger's great themes Here's the live performance of Kiss on WCW Monday Nitro in 99 that debuted The Demon then see his great Tron as well
Tomorrow I'll show when he became The MVP Dale Torborg here and in the promos

Friar Ferguson and the KISS Demon make an interesting combo. Basically wrestling companies throwing crap against the wall to hope something sticks. I could imagine KISS being on generating a pop in the ratings, but where do you really go from there with a wrestler? It was destined to fail.
"Somewhere in a lonely hotel room, there's a guy starting to realize that eternal fate has turned its back on him. It's 2 AM."
Well the difference is PB, The Demon was around for a long while, Ferguson was only around just for that one match and the people liked him so the WWF really never gave him a chance Like I said, his theme was a precursor to Mankind's which was just an updated version of his without the choir. I might do a comparison later on. Raven's theme is great, that was on the Vol. 5 Album. I love the Raven sound effects
Orially Kiss was going to have a stable called The Warriors of KISS but it fell through. Okay, now after The KISS Demon's time ran out and gone from the Dark Carnival (Vampiro, The Great Muta & The ICP) he was repackaged as "The MVP" Dale Torborg which was his original gimmick in wresting Torborg has a legit Baseball background as he is the son of Jeff Torborg Make sure you see the special promo video that was on ESPN in the Promo Topic for more So WCW got their own baseball payer, the WWF wasn't the only one with an MVP that was Abe Knuckleball Schwartz aka The Brooklyn Brawler However, this one is "The Most Violent Player" When you see this Tron and listen to his really cool theme, you'll see he still does stuff like The Demon and I love his red, black & white attire & face-paint
Torborg had another gimmick in WCW which I'l post in time

HAPPY HALLOWEEN Okay good. Actually, Torborg's MVP was very brief, only a few matches. Ah Mordecai, such a great looking newcomer with such potential that was a religious zealot then a while later was Kevin Thorn the Vampire Great theme
Double Feature and you'll see why Here's the WCW Halloween Phantom who was revealed to be "Ravishing" Rick Rude at WCW Halloween Havoc 91, what an event that night was
Now, fast forward to 1998, here's The Ultimate Warrior's great Theme when he shockingly joined WCW The clip I was looking for in the Promos is here in this great Tron...LOOK at :23 & 1:13...THAT'S THE RENEGADE there as The Warrior's double at War Games to fool Hollywood but it was never that on TV
