SDCC 2018 Exclusives
Posted: Fri Jun 01, 2018 1:41 amWe're starting to see announcements for some of this year's SDCC exclusives, so I figured we might want to discuss some of the more interesting ones.
From NECA:
Hawkins from Predator! That's right, finally a Shane Black action figure, right in time for his directorial turn on the new Predator film. I assume a lot of reuse is involved here, possibly from other Predator characters or maybe the Contra figures. Curious to see if we'll see more of the crew down the line. I think we're all still waiting on Dillon.
Apparently directors are a big thing with NECA this year, because they're making teen heartthrob Guillermo Del Toro! (Can Jordan Peele be far behind? Greta Gerwig? That guy who made Three Billboards?) Obviously this goes along with their line of Del Toro figures, and I'm hoping that means we'll see some Shape of Water offerings at the show.
