OK then you know how classic it is then. That's great trivia there Packer especially since you listen to the songs in your Grandma's neighborhood

OK, here I go with Top Gun: Maverick

The movie is good and looks similar the way the late great Tony Scott did the first film but after a while it just loses steam and become just a "new" movie but at least it's sequel. They show this in the movie big time.

Tom Cruise returns as Maverick, the titled character.

Val Kilmer returns in his final role as Iceman.

Miles Teller plays Rooster whom is Goose's son

Jennifer Connelly plays Maverick's girlfriend. To bad they had to wait so long to a make a sequel I mean it's a 36 year gap...what the heck happen between 1986 & now

St. Louis' own John Hamm is Cyclone.

Coincidentally, he & Connelly was both in 2008's epic The Day the Earth Stood Still

Charles Parnell is Warlock.

Now, this is a younger generation of Top Guns, way different than how the people were in the 80s whoch they were so much cooler. Of course they think nothing of the elders nor the past and don't care if they go extinct. Once they know Maverick, they'll find out that the older Generation still has what it takes

Lewis Pullman plays Bob. Yes, this is Bill Pullman's son

There's a Top Gun female here this time around played Monica Barbaro, She is Phoenix. Hopefully she caught some young man's attention here.

Glen Powell is Hangman. Strangely, Last year his was the main guy in Twisters,

Now, if you thought why is that strange, well here's your answer. In the classic parody/spoof of Top Gun called Hot Shots! that came out in 1991, Cary Elwes played the Iceman character...a few years later in 1996, he would be in the first Twister

Ed Harris is Hammer. It was rad seeing him. If your wondering, they continue "the Coffey gag" with him but it was very brief

The Trailer before the P!anDemic

The Trailer after the P!anDemic

This really lacked the classic the songs. The score was good but not the best. It's by Hans Zimmer and produced by his colleague Lorne Balfe whom is a great composer himself. He uses Harold Faltermayer's great theme. My Mom knows Zimmer a lot thanks to Me & We were both very disgusted that Lady Gaga who only did a song at the climax of the film got top billing before Zimmer

Now as special bonus, here's the Val Kilmer scene, he's only in it for a brief moment. His voice has been dubbed due to his unfortunate condition. This was his final film

I'll see what is next
