Countdown to Christmas: General Commercials

Postby packerbacker180 » Tue Nov 22, 2022 2:55 pm

Christmas always has those memorable commercials. They can make laugh; they can make you a little teary eyed. They might be those wacky M & M's, or the Budweiser Clydesdales.

This one's always been a memorable one for me since childhood. Nowadays every Christmas morning I'll tweet out "Peter...you're home!" and my one friend will like the tweet because it's become a running gag of ours. But even before that, it always stuck with me, so what but place to start but there?

Nice! When I think of Christmas commercials and childhood, I think of Bea Arthur. She was the spokesperson for Shopper's Drug Mart, a store in Canada that was a pharmacy but also sold other things like food, toys, videogames, etc.

Aw, I remember that one. McDonalds had some of the best commercials.

That's good, oh indeed they did PB :)

I don't recall seeing that cute Nestle but I sure do that Budweiser, in fact I believe I have seen many variations of it as well over the years :)

OK, remember I said a while back that there was a Scrooge McDonalds commercial I saw a very long time ago when I was a very little youngster :?: Well I believe this is it and this maybe even the first time I saw the character too :scbat: :scsm: :scww:

Here is an old Pepsi commercial, I loved how Pepsi's logo was then in the 80s :scbat:
